Modify Homelands

Description
Selectively remove homelands of foreign cultures or add own homelands individually or multiple at once per state decree and decision. Can be chosen indiscriminate or via pop percentage thresholds for optimal immersion.

How it works:
  1. Mark desired states via the "Modify Homeland" decree.
  2. Head over to decisions and select either to add homelands or to remove homelands for your selection
  3. Select the threshold, either all or required population shares of greater than 10%, 20%, 35% or 50% to be valid

FAQ:
  • Can the AI do it too >> No, only the player can modify homelands. So if you want it for the AI, tag over and do it for it.
  • I play with a mod that has different cultures. >> Theres no way around a compatibility patch. Check out the GitHub link if you want to create one easily.

All you need to adjust is a small culture JSON and the programm will create all needed events and decisions for your mod with different than vanilla cultures.

Adapted versions for other culture expansion mods:
Syncretic Cultures

Compatibility:
Might require a fresh game if no decisions show up in your game:[

This mod is highly compatible as all files are standalone and dont override anything.

Could you change it, so that the decisions only show up, if you have an active decree?

it has now sadly broken

@NAZWodkamelone sure that would work with yearly checks but then people complain because it screws up nation formations because the AI uses that as crutches and it would immediately invalidate some releaseables, even if added rules and set them to lenient.

Could you use meta trigger or meta effects to make it work dynamically?

Still works fine on 1.9

@Digital_Cake_ Looks like he means running it in IntelliJ.

CreateHomelandModifier.kt has the config file set to `SyncreticCulturesConfiguration` so it looks like OP switched it over to create the other mod and didn't switch it back. You'll need to update that json (or whatever `configFileName` is set to for anyone looking in the future).

@Caracus I'll be honest, I followed the instructions, but they're very vague if you don't know what you're doing because I'm not seeing where I'm supposed to put the file back afterwards. You mention adjusting the vanillaculturesconfiguration.json list and pressing run. Pressing run on what??? There's no option for running the .json, and running the createhomelandmodifier.kt just creates the same files again.

@Digital_Cake_ thats working as designed if you take a look at the FAQ :D
cultures need to be hardcoded for this functionality

Doesn't work with Hail Columbia's American culture. The decision to remove homelands will remain, but if you consolidate to American, the option to expand is missing.
