WORKING Personality Test (Dog Days)

Description
A working alternate to Cattrina's Personality Test mod.

Works much the same way for you, the user. Behind the scenes? This took me several hours to figure out, not including the already several DAYS I've put in trying (and failing) to do the same thing with my other mod! A working patch would require effectively rewriting the mod from scratch, so I did just that (and added my own flair). Cattrina, if you read this: Feel free to dig through this mod to see how it works so you can fix your own!

Walking around the Hub is a very special dog. Interact with her with only one person in your squad, and she can tell you that character's personality. It's a bit cryptic, but here's a guide.

  • Honorable: You'd make a good companion, girl.
  • Traitorous: Ugh. I'd drop this sack of fleas in a heartbeat.
  • Smart: There's more to you than meets the eye.
  • Dumb: I don't get it. Did something happen?
  • Brave: Tell me your secrets, girl. I'm not afraid.
  • Fearful: Don't look at me all creepy like that!
  • Maniacal: Is this some kind of dominance thing? GRRR!


This mod should be compatible with literally any mod that doesn't outright delete the Hub.

Yeah, I don't mind if you include it in a modpack or something. If you wanted to make your own NPC that does this, (and I'd recommend it because the dog only shows up in the default Hub I think, it's not in every worldstate) you should also look at this mod I made to see how it works a bit more clearly: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3037816591

Looks awesome! I'm working on a large animal overhaul right now, and I'd love to incorporate the features of this mod into mine, and possibly expand them. Would that be okay with with you? You will of course be credited in the description with a link.

I love the flavor text you used for each personality. They're all distinct enough that the personalities are pretty obvious, and they fit the game's writing really well, imo.
