Description
This is the More British Provinces Mod.

I made this for myself originally as i thought there were too few provinces on the British Isles, compared to Germany or France, so i thought i would share what i did

In total this mod adds 53 provinces to the British Isles, 28 in England, 10 in Scotland, 10 in Ireland, and 5 in Wales.

I have also made it so that province names of Scotland, Ireland and Wales, change depending if they are owned by a nation with English primary culture or not. I have tried to keep the names of all the provinces as accurate as possible.

YES i am aware that this makes the countries on the British Isles OVERPOWERED, especially England, however i originally tried, mostly in vain to balance the development, but assuming the people playing this mod are going to be controlling a country on the British Isles, it doesn't really matter

This is my first mod, and i am technologically inept, so sorry if there are any mistakes.

This mod will not be compatible with other mods that add new provinces, or change anything on the British isles.

Also the screenshots were taken with the Graphical Map Improvements Mod Updated.

Anyway i really hope you enjoy the mod :)

EDIT : Also now i have uploaded my main mod which will have all the regions together, which i will update with regions, as well releasing standalone region mods like this one.

You are certainly most welcome! It is my pleasure. I obviously play England, or else I wouldn't have tried out your mod. xD Lol.

Don't know how i missed that, but it should be fixed now, i have updated the mod. Also the name for Sheffield was originally meant to be Stainhill, or something like that (haven't looked it up in a while), to be more historical, but the localisation for that province, is not the same as the others, as it is in the leviathan file. (the update the province came with) I don't want to touch that file, as it is the largest localisation file, so would make this mod incompatible with many other great mods out there.

Hi, great mod, thank you for them. I want to report a possible bug. It appears that Suffolk province seem to have no port, so any ships I had built there cannot be moved out of that province. I am unsure if it is just on my end only. Please confirm if this is or is not the case.

It is possible that the port location of Suffolk (province ID 3203) were not defined by accident. For now, I will avoid using Suffolk province for manual ship constructions. Unfortunately, this may not be possible with fleet templates. So this is kind of an urgent issue if this is indeed a bug and not just on my end.

Yes, this seems to be an issue, persistent in my mods, i am currently going through them all and fixing it, will comment when is updated.

I really love this mod, but there is a big problem with the implementation. Many provinces in South America, Indonesia and West Africa have a movement bug where units travelling to some provinces visually move off the map usually to the very far north in the direction of GBR. There are also random flags from other nations in the british provinces and I've noticed the province Sulu in Indonesia can't be colonised because the program thinks it is an infinite distance from all other provinces. If you couls solve these issues this would be perfect (PS I am British so yes I maybe a bit biased in loving the extra detail in my homeland!)

I have just released the More European Provinces mod, that has all the regions present, i will continue to update it by adding more regions, as well as uploading the standalone region mods like this one.

Hi Sir Kyber, i thought about this when making the mod, but originally didn't want to as i am not very good at modding missions, and it would cause the mod to not be compatible with mission mods. Thinking about it now, i will get round to updating the mod to solve this issue, but it may take a while as i am not familiar with this type of modding.
