Hardcore Wounds

Description
Each wound reduces Agility, Dexterity, Explosives and Marksmanship skill by 20%.
This means a wounded unit has fewer AP, worse aim, greater chance of mishaps and missing shots.

The stat reduction multiplies the remaining value after the previous stack reduction so:
1 Wound -> 80% max value, 2 wounds -> 64%, 3 wounds -> 51%, etc.

Effectively wounded units will become weaker, and avoiding hits and healing up before the next fight is more important.

There is also a chance that wounds will inflict bleeding. Bleed chance can be configured in mod options.

There are good alternatives to this mod (e.g. until it's get fixed):
1. The new game option called "Heavy Wounds" (since 1.5). Its severity can be fine-tuned using Lucjan's "Custom Advanced Settings" mod. (By default, it is not so "hardcore".)
2. "Rato's Wound Overhaul Lite" mod

Yes indeed. The mod does work but just partially. Only the first hit/wound counts. Every other hit/wound doesn´t count anymore. The wound penalty doesn´t stack.

Anyway, is this mod really working properly for 1.4.x? (It was awesome previously.)

I tried this (only this mod on a fresh new game), and stat changes does not seem to stack. E.g. for Buns, AGI/DEX/MRK is originally 79/87/86. After 1 wound: 63/70/69 (i.e. 80%), but additional wounds did not change these values at all.

Am I right that the merc's stats (e.g. for potrait hover) should always show the modified, effective values?

@Timmeh, awesome mod, many thanks for that! It makes gunfight much more realistic. I really hated that seriously wounded enemies and mercs can run and fight almost the same way as healthy ones. :)

A suggestion: it would be nice to add an option for the default 20% penalty (e.g. with values 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30%). E.g. with 15%, 3 wounds -> 61%.

Actually, it is working on my end too. Just I was expecting that the stats would show something like red numbers or with minus wehen being injured. Thanks for the mod

Seems to work fine on my end and it affects all units.
If you have any other mods that change the "Wounded" effect, you'll have a conflict and only one mod's version will be used.

How to see the mod is working? I have looked at my character stats who was wounded several times but the stats seem no to have changed at all

I dont think this works properly on NPCs at all. A legion soldier with 5 wounds and bleeding stomps my units with a full auto m14 burst from across the map, reliably, all the time. Even if they had 100 dex and 100 mrk, that should be like 40 marksmanship with all those wounds yeah? something definitely isn't right here.

It's not very complex, but should complement this mod nicely.
