JM "Fairhaven"-Class Destroyer
DD40 Series

With the success of the "Lt. Albey"-class Flight II project, it was natural for the JRN to also update its smaller, general purpose destroyers. The "Fairhaven"-class Flight II program intended to use scaled down versions of the technology on the DDG. Instead of vertical launch systems and multiple radomes, a simpler design with conventional launchers and a dual radar setup was chosen. The lack in firepower and range was compensated with the addition of a small hangar and a control station for a scout drone. One JM XRQ-13 Scouting Drone is assigned to each ship, for extended range and payload delivery missions.

6 ships were commisioned:
-JRN "Fairhaven" (DD-41)
-JRN "Eldenbrook" (DD-42)
-JRN "Saffronport" (DD-43)
-JRN "Ravenshire" (DD-44)
-JRN "Dunsworth" (DD-45)
-JRN "Falconreach" (DD-46)
All the six ships were built under Flight I standards. They were rapidly updated to the Flight II design thanks to the modular design of the class.

START PROCEDURE.
-Set your desired engine(s) throttle and turn on the toggle switch.
-Enable the Engine drive clutch.
-For power generation you can use the Generator Clutch arrow buttons.
-Drive the ship from the helm at the bridge, use W/S to direct power to the driveshaft

TIPS & TRICKS
-There are welding tools on the deck outside the bridge, and in the spare room below the Mk25 SAM launcher.
-There are winches on the stern and the bow, you can use them for towing.
-You will find countless fire extinguishers and medkits scattered across the ship.
-On the helicopter deck you will find access to the ship's fuel (and helicopter fuel store), and ropes to tie down aircraft.
-You can leave engine(s) on with full generator clutch to generate power without moving.
