Have you ever tried to make a good reliable automatic gearbox?
I did.
It was not worth it.

So I present you the only transmission you will ever need.

The CVT
Compares the throttle value form seat to the real air manifold throttle. As the RPS reaches the limit, the air throttle decreases and as a consequence the CVT increases the gear ration till the air throttle is same as seat throttle.

Since it is meant make the engine run as efficiently as possible, when the RPS limit is very high (30+) or none, the CVT will not be able to get the full capabilities of the engine.
Also I do not recommend using 3x3 engine for a vehicle since the torque is insanely high and the goal of this CVT is to push smaller engine to the maximum.

Behaves like normal gearbox with progressive gear ratios.

When making the CVT, only one thing you need to correctly set up is the gear ration on the gearboxes.
At max throttle, the CVT output should be around 0.9. If it is higher (being 1 since that is the maximum) the engine is not running at full throttle. If it is lower, it will work fine but sequential mode might have some issues.
