Description
DISCLAIMER: This mod wont be finished, read below
if you dont really care about this and just wanna know how to use the mod just scroll a bit


This mod doesn't have all the features and polish I would've liked to have added, mainly due to complexity and time. I'm by no means a super good coder, all I do is take the things I know and apply it to an idea I have, but this project is way beyond my scope.

Because of that, I don't plan to work on this mod anymore (besides maybe fixing a bug that ruins the general users experience). My hope is that someone more skilled than me may see this and execute this idea better than I have. (feel free to decompile my mod n all that! credit or no credit is fine)


alright now that thats out of the way, heres the less boring stuff:


-Active NPCs-
Based around Euphoria, games that utilize active ragdoll physics, and mainly being inspired by Fedhoria


Active NPCs adds in physics-based NPCs that react uniquely to being shot.

Wherever you shoot the npc, it will grab its wound and hold it. It will run away if you take/shoot the gun out of its hands, and fall over if you hit it's legs.

This results in more engaging fights that allows for more variety in how you can kill an npc. I personally recommend using the BSMOD Punch and kick mod for fun fist fights.

The NPCs are found in ENTITIES>ACTIVE NPCS

If you wish to make your own active npc, you can visit my Github[github.com] and check out the examples. It's pretty simple if you plan to add an npc with a different model/gun, but if you want to try something complex I recommend decompiling my mod and making custom versions of the base functions. theres also a tool called "measure" in weapons that gets local positions of models.


All the console commands are under "activeragdoll_" including basic parameters to edit the Custom npc
(Some notable ones being "activeragdoll_healthmultiplier" and "activeragdoll_gundropchance")

i remember getting this a while back and i keep uninstalling all my mods because they would crash the game and i finally remembered about this addon

@76561199624336214 its not my idea lol, its been done before and its all based around the euphoria thing from gta4. even if it was, in the description i clearly state

he also coded his from scratch, I hope he continues his development and keeps working on it.

someone stole your idea and called it "active ragdolls"
