The appearance of the Lightwings might lead you to think that they are just oversized insects, but then you remember that insects were not involved with the creation of this world. The Lightwings are not insects. They're birds. The last of the Skyex, to be specific.

Lightwings are large omnivorous birds that will eat anything from fruits to dead creatures to live quiblits. Despite their name and appearance, they are not actually bioluminescent. They just have large, semi-transparent wings that give the appearance of bioluminescence when the sunlight passes through them. That's why they're called Lightwings in the first place.

Other Information: They're inspired by a light in my backyard that produced a strange pattern on the wall when it was on due to the shape of the light. Like many random objects nobody would think much about, I found a way to turn it into a creature.
