Last Days of the Reich

Description
As the Allies push further and further into the Fatherland, the Führer demands all men 16 to 60 to defend his evil regime: the old, the young, and the weak. If they stand for Germany, they die for Germany. These are the last days of the Reich.

What is this mod?
Last Days of the Reich is a mod that seeks to accurately depict the uniforms of the German forces of the present at the Battle of Berlin in 1945. Largely inspired by the 2004 movie, Der Untergang (Downfall), cut content from Call of Duty: World at War, and the Fall of Berlin mod for Call of Duty: World at War, this mod attempts to add depth to the German units and depict units never seen in Arma 3 before. Using the high-quality assets of Spearhead 1944, Last Days of the Reich accurately depicts uniforms of various branches of the Wehrmacht, the Stormtroopers--the military arm of the German Workers' Party--and the civilian-conscripted Volkssturm (People's Storm).

Unfortunately, due to some model limitations, some uniforms are not 1:1 to their real life counterparts (namely those of the Kriegsmarine and Luftwaffe), but I have done my best to get as close as possible.

What's in this mod?
This mod includes a few features that make it unique to my previous work. Alongside the various uniforms, Last Days of the Reich includes the Wehrmacht (1945) and Sturmtruppen (1945) factions, which include placeable units in the Editor. These factions are infantry-only and use Spearhead 1944 assets. The units included are:

Sturmtruppen
101st Ezquerra Group - Spanish unit made of remanants of the Blue Division, who disbanded in 1943
11th Panzer Grenadier Division "Nordland" - Norwregian unit that were known for their actions on the Eastern Front
15th Waffen Grenadier Division - Latvian unit, largely made of illegally conscripted soldiers in 1943
1st Panzer Division "Adolf Hitler" - The Vanguard Stormtroopers of Germany who defended Berlin and guarded Hitler himself
33d Grenadier Division "Charlemagne" - French collaborators who became diehard fanatics of Hitler's ideology

Wehrmacht
1st Falschrim-Panzer Division "Herman Goering" (LW HG) - The Luftwaffe's top ground combat unit
Feldgendarmerie (FG) - Military Police of the German Wehrmacht, includes units with and without gorgets (gorgets were not typically worn in the field)
Hitlerjugend (HJ) - 16-18 year old soldiers that were fanatics in Hitler's ideology-heavy version of Eagle Scouts; includes regular and Marine variants (MHJ)
Kriegsmarine (KM) - The Navy of Germany forced to fight on land due to lack of man-power in the final days of the war
Kriegsmarine Coastal Artillery (KM CA) - Land-based Kriegsmarine units withdrawn from their artillery positions on the coast of Germany to assist in the defense of Berlin
Luftwaffe 1st Flak Division (LW FK) - Artillerymen of the Luftwaffe who manned anti-aircraft and anti-tank guns during the battle
Luftwaffe Flight Troops (LW FT) - Pilots and aircraft mechanics used as ground troops due to lack of manpower in Berlin and lack of aircraft in Germany
Panzer Grenadier Division "Grossdeutschland" (GD) - An elite infantry division of the Wehrmacht assigned to Berlin defensive sector
Volkssturm (VS) - The civilians-turned-soldiers in the final months of the war (not always willingly so); comprised mostly of old men, teenagers, and men who had otherwise been incapable of actual military service

Last Days of the Reich also includes a custom rank selection system based on the 3den rank selection system from S&S. Ranks can be selected from the attributes menu in the 3den Editor.

Disclaimer
This mod contains symbols of the German military and government in the 1940s. The mod is not meant to glorify or elevate the ideology or actions of what is the most universally hated regime in human history. The only intent of this mod is only to depict the uniforms of their military and paramilitary for the purposes of historical autheticity in a depiction of the units present at the Battle of Berlin.

I'm going to assume that you are asking this because you saw my previous comments, but did not see what I was replying to. It's been a couple months, but I do remember the last one was essentially, "The world would be a better place if the nazis won WWII."

So, if you agree with that sentiment, please, don't download my mod.

A few questions:

How do I know if I am ideologically pure enough to use this mod? I mean, I'm pretty sure that I am, I only think what I'm told to think, and I hate the people I'm supposed to hate, but every now and then I catch myself thinking "hey that German tank is cool", and I wonder if I'm actually as pure as I think I am.

That said, what if someone holds an unpopular opinion, but doesn't tell anyone? Can the mod detect this and make the player shoot foam bullets while moving at half speed? I worry about the existence of people who might disagree with me about any issue. I would find this intolerable.

As for me, please rest assure that I will boo and hiss at any sight of the evil Wehrmacht, and if I see a Tiger tank or something, I will repeat "but all they ever did was break down, unlike Shermans which were powered by the forces of good", and i'll keep repeating it until it is automatic. After all, I ain't no Wehraboo!

Don't know why people aren't getting this: if you spout pro-nazi BS in my comments, I'm gonna delete your comment and probably report it to Steam.

Well that is the point of the mod, no? To represent history

I have removed a user comment for making a pro-N@zi comment. I must reiterate that I do not support the regime or ideology that used these uniforms. This is simply a mod with historical authenticity in mind.
