Fully stock medium sized SSTO for 8 kerbals and small cargo

make sure to set control to OKTO core on top, AG1 and 2 also resets control to correct core


AG1 - toggle engines
AG2 - toggle rapier mode
AG3 - activate reentry mode/ toggle elevon deploy for reentry
AG4 - toggle solar panels
AG5 - toggle cargo bay


Orbit: rotate at ~120m/s, climb at ~5 deg until past 400m/s, then climb at ~10 deg, swap rapier mode (AG2) when speed stops climbing (~1200m/s), set to prograde when apoapsis is at ~50km and burn till 80km apoapsis, coast and perform circularisation burn at peak

~1100m/s dV at 80x80km orbit (empty), ~700-800m/s dV with 7 ton payload

Re-entry: burn till periapsis is ~20km above target, activate AG3 and set to prograde, roll to perform S-turns to manage speed and trajectory if needed, there is a decent margin of fuel left over for air breathing rapiers if far from target

Landing: Ensure elevons are retracted (AG3 to toggle) and reset probe control (AG1 or 2 will reset), ~70-80m/s touch down and be gentle because sometimes it bounces, deploy landing chute with staging if necessary
