Polish People's Army [RAGDOLLS]

Description
ADDON CONTAINS NO VIRUSES

THIS IS A REUPLOAD OF AN ADDON THAT ONCE EXISTED BUT WAS DELETED!!! IF YOU ARE THE AUTHOR OF THE ORIGINAL, PLEASE CONTACT ME.

The addon contains high-poly models of soldiers of the Polish People's Army (Ludowe Wojsko Polskie) of the 60-80s.

Models have many body, arm and face skins, different variations of uniforms and equipment, many hats, and insignia.

The Polish People's Army (Polish: Ludowe Wojsko Polskie pronounced) constituted the second formation of the Polish Armed Forces in the East in 1943–1945, and in 1945–1989 the armed forces of the Polish People's Republic, ruled by the Polish Workers' Party and then the Polish United Workers' Party. The communist-led Polish armed forces, allowed and facilitated by Joseph Stalin, were the result of efforts made in the early 1940s in the Soviet Union by Wanda Wasilewska and Zygmunt Berling.

After the war, Polish forces were divided into six (later seven) military districts: Warsaw, Lublin, Kraków, Lodz, Poznań, Toruń and Silesia (with headquarters in Katowice, formed in autumn 1945, later than the others). Until 1956, the Minister of National Defence of Poland was Marshal of the Soviet Union Konstantin Rokossovsky (who also had the title Marshal of Poland); from December 1950 to November 1956, the Commander of the Air Force was Colonel-General of the USSR Air Force Ivan Turkel. The events of October 1956 led to serious changes in the structure of the Polish Army: engineering and artillery brigades were formed there. On 12 March 1958, the Sporting Committee of Friendly Armies was established, in which the Polish National Army became a member.

In 1968, troops of the 2nd Polish Army under the command of Division General F. Siwicki participated in Operation Danube and the suppression of anti-government demonstrations in the CSSR (Prague Spring). On 3 November 1973, the government of the Polish People's Republic made a decision on the participation of units of the Polish Army in the UN peacekeeping forces to resolve the crisis in the Middle East and sent soldiers to serve on the line of demarcation between Egypt and Israel. In 1981-1983, the Polish Army also participated in martial law events, confronting the Solidarity movement.

As of the beginning of 1985, the armed forces of the Polish People's Republic included the administration, land forces, air defence, navy and territorial defence forces. The abolition of the Polish People's Republic also led to the termination of the Polish People's Army, which was transformed into the modern Polish Armed Forces.

Throughout the entire existence of the Polish People's Army, its official publication was the newspaper Żołnierz Wolności.

Hi, I know you are not the original creator, but I would still like to ask if I could have your permission to edit these models into HL2 Combine replacements? I'll be sure to credit you.
