IMPORTANT NOTE:

IMPORT OR NEW GAME REQUIRED

What this mod does:

This mod aims to fix the issue of the towns being small compared to the lore, what it basically does is it expands the city borders and add new buildings,shops and citizens.

All of the towns from HN,UC and Shek kingdom have been adressed. The capitals have been made around twice their vanilla size and the other minor cities have been expanded as well. I also changed The Bastion and added a bar to it.Mourn is also expanded a little.

Drin,Endin and Bast have been totally redone, as well as drifter's last. Heft is now the biggest city in kenshi.

The towns I didn't touch:

Farms and mines, towns in the swamp and shark,outposts and worlds end as well as Black Desert City.
Black Scratch and Brink
The Hub
Mongrel
Minor Faction's settlements like fishing villages, Hidden town...
Deadcat and cannibal settlements

Issues:

Performance. Since towns are larger there are more npcs which will drop down performance a bit, not noticable on small town. In major towns it can have some impact.

Loading times. Loading times when entering a city are longer now because of the need to load more npcs and buildings.

Unique recruits. Not an issue but a design change, now all unique recruits in HN UC and Shek Kingdom spawn at their own locations in all playthroughs, no longer they will be in different cities every playthrough.


Town Combat and Design:

I have just finished polishing the cities and even then they are not perfect as the shop and barrack placements aren't the best right now.I tried to make towns a little more distinct and lore friendly, in heft for example the rich and the poor are seperated, I tried to make shek kingdom's architecture a bit less ideal since they are not the best minds to do that stuff. I tried to make holy nations cities very crumbled and populated as they should in theory have the most amount of people in regards of the factions.

Since cities are much larger now there are more gates,barracks and guards in general so it is going to be waayy harder to take cities without the help of mercs and other major factions.

What is there for future:

This mod will actually be a foundation for my kenshi overhaul, I intend to rebalance the game and add stuff that is LORE FRIENDLY.

If there are any issues you encounter let me know, I will try my best to fix it. I am also open to suggestions.

May I ask for a UWE Patch? love the mod but the 2 mods mess some of the buildings up.

Great looking mod. Does this remove the shinobi thieves tower from some cities? Heng for example.

Hey man, I love this a lot. I just wanted to see if you'd consider implementing an optional compatibility patch for "A Forgotten World". I've noticed some pretty hefty building merges, making some completely inaccessible. Either that mod, or as GayusJulius... asked about, a compatibility patch for "Cities Re-balanced" would be an extraordinary addition, to really enhance the already superb quality of this mod. Either way, thank's for your work brother! One Love <3

Have you thought of implementing the building and wall placements from the mods Cities Rebalanced and Vanilla Plus Architecture? Having the city walls more straightened out like in those mods would enhance this mod. :)

@Barry Macaroon yes I sorted out the issue it will be shipped next update, for some reason the bar squads for heft original override were deleted, when its taken over they are normal

Nice mod, but I have same issue as Beathoven. Nobody at all in the UC bars except shop clerk and guards. No mercenaries, townsfolk, or recruits.

a friend of mine did a small patch and said he worked fine although it's his personal stuff so I can't share it but he said it will work well even without the patch

@𐌱𐌿𐍃𐍃𐍉𐌽 its not abandoned, I just don't have the time to test out the stuff in game so I rely on people's feedback :( next 2 weeks I will be in my hometown and will probably have time to fix stuff thanks for the support
