Improved .357 Worldmodel

Description
Rushed revolver

Pretty much a redo of the revolver worldmodel to make it on par with the other HL2 weapon worldmodels, added sharps using the HL1 magnum as reference, normally it has none and is the only worldmodel without sharps, UV edits, and fixed the nasty gap around the barrel area, i also added a LoD model to match the other worldmodels.

The .357 is infamous for just using the HL1 magnum model with just a stock photo plastered over the HL1 texture, the magnum is not present in the 2003 leak a year before HL2 released, likely was rushed into the game when half of the weapons were gutted and really just was poorly done, Gmod tried to improve it but it looks a tad goofy and makes the missing face around the barrel worse, so i spent some time editing the original HL2DM version, and this is the result, also its aimed correctly in thirdperson instead of being tilted up.

I never liked mods that just use the viewmodel mesh for the worldmodel, just seems kinda lazy, plus it would make it the only worldmodel that does not use a different mesh and UV so it becomes inconsistent.

would be better if the worldmodel is just viewmodel-like
and the only mod that achieves that without any glitches is the Retail Plus Weapons Pack for
Half-Life 2

The only issue with that mod is that doesn't have playermodel support

awesome, btw I love your work man, you've done alot of mods that fit hl2 style and hl2 beta style very well. and I'd love to see some more stalker mods from you:steamthumbsup:

Yeah ofcourse, this only covers the model while those cover textures, i use them myself.
