I might revisit this in the future with these mercs, but with vanilla, this is unfortunately not true.
Also, those mods themselves can have alterations to starting inventories, so that is also possible.
(Currently I would prefer not maintain two separate versions based on starting equipment due to the administrational overhead)
There are several modders, who would like to establish pistol gameplay before SMG gamplay before rifle gameplay.
This is hardly possible when your extra mercs already start with M14s and M16s.
Is it possible to release an extra complete pack of your mercs with just basic starting equipment so that they could be used in such a scenario?
