HOI4 Mod, entirely based on BFDI

It's 2011, the contest is coming to an end, what could go wrong?...

Troubles in Goiky - A mod dedicated to the lore of the first and second seasons of Battle For Dream Island. Events take place at the end of the first season. The winner is almost determined, but something goes wrong...
The world of the mod is based on snippets of lore from the series. Goiky here is a fairly densely populated continent with large cities and production.


Attention! The mod is at a VERY early stage of development!

Currently implemented:
  1. Map (early)
  2. Main interface
  3. Main lore
  4. Soldiers 3D models
  5. Playable demo focus-tree for three countries

Development plans:
  1. Finalization of the map
  2. Own technologies trees
  3. Implementation of playable paths for all countries

I've officially played every single nation with playable content to the end so I'd like to give my two cents on the mod.

It's genuinely well made and a lot of love has been put into this mod, though the playthroughs I've had are pretty short only lasting 1 hour as their currently isn't a lot of content in this mod but I'd say the limited content in the mod is fun. Generally I'd rate this mod a 7/10, pretty fun and I would recommend it to others

i like this! simple and fun like season 1, clearly something with lots of passion put into it! there were some moments where tonal whiplash hit like extremely hard, since this is. you know, 2012 bfdi, but i can get used to that. troubles in goiky on fucking peak :steamthis: :steamthumbsup:
