Description
Tells you how many cookies baked per given time interval.

Like a number of other similar mods, this one was inspired by Cookies per Minute by Claudz. As you can tell from the picture, this mod spans a wider range of possible time intervals; I have personally found all of these time intervals useful in my games.

Here are the intervals displayed by this mod:

Minute
20 Minutes
Hour
Day
Week
Month
Year
Decade
Century
Millennium
Million Years
Age of Universe
Planck Time

After the "Million Years" setting, it is simple to calculate in your head what the next multiple of a thousand would be, so it didn't seem necessary to display anything beyond that. However, the "Age of Universe" setting (for which an age of 13.78 billion years is used) seemed unique enough and interesting enough that it gets its own entry near the end. Additionally, although essentially everything else is displayed in single units, an exception is make for the entry for the entry for 20 Minutes, as this represents the cost in cookies required to purchase a Broker for the Stock Market minigame.

The Planck Time interval is rather interesting in that not only is it the only natural unit of time, but it is also the shortest possible meaningful unit of time. This means that it requires a fairly high baking speed (about 18.549 tredecillion CPS) to produce even one cookie per Planck time. As this is not a trivial accomplishment and it typically takes a fair amount of play to get to this point, an Achievement ("Shortest baking time") is awarded when you reach a production rate of one cookie per Planck time.

You may notice that all these entries take up a lot of space on the screen, and come very close to overlaying the Big Cookie. In fact, this picture was taken from a 32" monitor with a resolution of 2560x1440. On smaller monitors, or on monitors with a smaller resolution, this display may actually overlap onto the Big Cookie itself.

The number of time intervals can easily be decreased, and even changing them or increasing their number is not that difficult. Instructions for doing so can be found in the main.js file of the mod. No knowledge of JavaScript is required to do any of this.

People may wonder if this mod has any practical use, especially compared to similar mods. Actually, it does. For example, in the main screenshot above, you can see that the current bank is 10.780 septenvigintillion cookies. It's reasonable to ask, "At the current CPS, how long will it take for that number to go up significantly just by the standard cookie generation process?" You can then scan through the list looking for a rate comparable to the value of the bank. The nearest rate is cookies per age of universe, which is 9.236 septenvigintillion. So if you waited the entire age of the universe, you could expect your bank to almost double. (Assuming your computer didn't crash first, of course.) Even with the standard cookie drops that appear every few minutes, you would still have to wait a substantial fraction of that time. So the only way you could increase your bank from this point would be to increase your CPS substantially, probably with some massive combo. (Or by cheating.)

Note that this mod works very well with the CPS After Ascension (Revised) mod. If you want the output of that mod to be displayed before this one, directly after the "per second" display, make sure it comes before this one in the mod loading order. The integration of the two mods can be seen in the main picture above.

This mod does not disable Steam Achievements.

I installed this mod and cannot uninstall it because it makes the game entirely unplayable.

In order to make the Planck Time Achievement work properly, CCSE is now required for this mod.

I've become somewhat enamored of the Planck Time interval, so I've made a couple of improvements to it.

First of all, since cookie production rates start at 0.1 CPS, the standard Cookie Clicker formatting tools aren't able to display fractions smaller than 0.1. This meant that a cookie production rate less than 5% of the number of Plank times per second (i.e., 927.429 duodecillion CPS) would show up as zero on the "per Planck time" line. I have fixed this so that the "per Planck time" line shows the proper number of fractions of a cookie when the number is less than one.

Second, reaching a production rate of one cookie per Planck time (i.e., 18.549 tredecillion CPS) seemed like a nontrivial accomplishment, so I made it an Achievement ("Shortest baking time").

Holy shit! I didn't expect you to add this. Thanks, lmao, that was awesome!

EL PUTA - I assume you were joking here; for most time intervals, you can of course just add or subtract the appropriate number of zeroes in your head to get the answer. For example, for cookies per nanosecond, you just take cookies per second and divide by a billion. Using the numbers from the main display picture, that would give you 21.243 octodecillion cookies per nanosecond.

But Planck time! That's an altogether different question. Not only is Planck time the shortest meaningful time interval, but the number of cookies per Planck time is not at all obvious from any of the other intervals displayed. And as "cookies per Planck time" stretches the laws of physics considerably less than a lot of the built-in features of the game (such as most of the buildings), I decided to include it. You can see it at the bottom of the picture.

At some point I may add an achievement for reaching a production rate of one cookie per Planck time. Someday...

But how many cookies can I make in a nanosecond? What about planck time? I need to know!
