Take that! Maya Fey from the Ace Attorney series joins Rivals of Aether as an assist. Functioning similarly to her role in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Maya will erect a psychic wall that destroys any projectiles that touch it for a brief period of time before disappearing. Additionally, if an opponent were to collide with the wall at any point, Maya will unleash a powerful psychic blast, knocking opponents away and effectively draining her power, causing the assist to disappear. Consequentially, taking damage will also cause Maya to disappear. Maya's recharge rate is relatively quick however, making her ideal for a more defensive playstyle. But, if you're looking for a more offensive style of play, she can also be used offensively as a trap were you to knock an opponent into her, as her psychic blast is great for closing out stocks, so don't be afraid to get a little creative.
