Ro 400 (400~497) is a second-class four-wheel passenger car made at the Shinbashi factory. When manufactured, they were numbered Ro15~Ro37, Ro117~Ro121, and Ro161~Ro230. After private railways such as Sanyo Railway and Nippon Railway were nationalized, they were grouped together with those of Nippon Railway (Ro75~Ro79) into the type 400, of which the numbers were Ro400~Ro497. One of the cars from Ro400 to Ro497 is the only remaining wooden second-class, four-wheeled passenger car from the Meiji era in Japan that that is still in existence. It has become a valuable object to understand the Japanese carriages of that era.

This mod adds two types of coaches. They have different years of appearance, but their performance as coaches is almost the same. Ro 162 will be added as one of the variations of Ro 400 (400-497).

To fix mistakes in the model and make it more like the real car, some parts have been changed in appearance from before the update. ○I have reduced the amount of data in the model and improved its operation. (The behavior has been improved to the same level as that of the HA1005 mod I posted the other day.)
○The model of the car body has been modified to correct a large dimensional error. The roof is now lower and the windows are slightly larger. As for the interior, the chair model has been remodeled.
○The front coupler has been changed, and the footholds on the front and rear have been changed to be similar to those of Ha1005 (1005~1028). Also, a model of brake piping was added.
○"Ro400(400~497) Before the late Meiji era", the color of the some characters is corrected (changed from white to black), and the typeface is also changed. Changed the body number of " Ro400(400~497) Before the late Meiji era" from Ro 430 to Ro 162, and changed the vehicle name from "Ro 400 (400~497) Before the late Meiji era" to "Ro 162 (JGR Before the late Meiji era)".
