Isolation Island [Survival]

Isolation Island is a survival-exclusive map featuring interesting and experimental new features.
Set on a remote island under a dark and ominous sky, the survivors try to activate the power, which just alerts every infected in a 500-mile radius, because that's how this game's logic works.

However, death may not be the only escape.

Perhaps there is a way to survive, just barely out of reach, waiting for the watchful eye to call out and be saved. The key to survival is yours to find and utilize.
Will you hold out until you are inevitably overrun, or will you struggle for your life to find salvation?
The choice is yours.

If you put your wits to the test and search the map for clues and useful items, escaping the island may be within your reach.
However, victory is not handed to you easily, you will have to earn your escape. Only those who put in the effort to survive will be rewarded with salvation.

An experimental system for dynamic ambient lighting and weather is included in the map, allowing a storm to roll in and pass by dynamically, with the ambient darkening and brightening as the weather intensifies and calms down. The full cycle takes roughly 20 minutes, and starts, lasts, and ends at randomized intervals.
This system may be very intense on lower-end devices. Use the !norain chat command to disable it.

Survival rounds are loud, and I mean they are LOUD. It may often be hard to hear anything other than gunfire, screaming, and death - so this map includes a chat-based subtitle system to solve that issue.
Add-ons do not allow custom subtitles, so, instead, this system uses the chatbox as a substitute for custom subtitles! You will see it in action if you attempt to escape the island.

The infected have adapted and no longer struggle to swim. Instead, they can now attack from the water.
You are still (for some reason) unable to swim, however, so be careful where you set up your defences, as the dark sea may prove to be even more of a threat than ever before.

The map has been balanced for survival mode, offering a significant challenge for those seeking high times. There are many supplies at your disposal - and you will need all of them.
How long can you survive?

This is a little side-project I decided to undertake while working on my upcoming custom campaign Cold Front. The map itself is based on the Lighthouse map from the Roblox game Michael's Zombies[www.roblox.com].
