Description
Credit: Thank you to Mystiko Neossia for the 'cope cage' idea for protecting the detection better. That suggestion led me to using the Challenger 2 TES as inspiration for the IED jammer.

Khertland has been participating in counter-insurgency operations in eastern GPYF in the breakaway regions for the past year and has encountered increasing IED threats. As a result, a new IED jamming system has been developed for the UT10M3 Nombrils known as the Vanguard system. It is designed to jam and disable IEDs before they can be remotely detonated. It is located on a raised platform at the rear of the turret to avoid interference with the tank's primary communication systems. This raised the total height of the vehicle quite substantially, negatively affecting the vehicle's signature; so not all Nombrils are expected to receive the kit. The atmospheric sensor had to be moved onto the raised platform as the large mast were interfering with its readings. Along side the addition of the jamming kit, the tanks being upgraded had its smoke dischargers moved from the right side of the turret to the left due to complaints by tank commanders that it is blocking their forward line of sight.
The first unit to receive these upgrades is with the 2nd Regiment of 2nd Armored Division. As combat is intensifying in the region, the 2nd Armored Division is preparing to provide heavy armor support to the 7th Motorized Infantry and 10th Airborne Divisions currently conducting COIN operations. This necessitated the IED jamming kit. As it is designed to be mounted on the Nombrils, the 2nd Regiment will be replacing its one company of Escutcheon IVs with Nombrils Vanguards. This will mean the 2nd Regiment will be the first to have all three companies equipped with the Nombril main battle tanks.

I use PID to smooth it out. Normally low power(mostly trial and error) would be sufficient for a smooth movement but then it can't climb over minor slopes.

Okay. Figured something out. Built a weapon to surpass Metal Gear. It launches tree trunks!

Hm... haven't been playing FtD lately, but seeing this I guess I'll have to make something silly to contrast with the more serious builds as of late. So with your infantry units, they're skidcraft using rubber blocks I take? What directional thruster setting do you use on average (thruster power scale) to get the smooth and slow movement? 0.1 or 0.3?
