In the secluded dwelling of an eccentric recluse, amidst a formidable array of obscure yet powerful curiosities and an assortment of macabre artifacts embellished with an abundance of skulls, resides an unlikely figure, a goblin of foreboding visage yet innately benign disposition. The goblin, shunning the tumultuous tapestry of the outside world, leads a solitary existence, rarely engaging in confrontations and preferring the solace of hermitic seclusion. This hermit's peculiarity finds its apotheosis in his enchanted scrying ball, a vessel where the unrestrained maelstrom of his unhinged psyche takes form—a vivid kaleidoscope of capricious hues and inner discord. To his unconventional abode, only the erudite Thaddeus the Cogoscenti is granted entry, a sage who recognizes the poetic eccentricity of the goblin's assortment and has shared in curious exchanges from time to time. Yet, beneath the goblin's chosen solitude, an empathetic connection persists; for as much as the hermit feasts upon his isolation, Thaddeus witnesses the genuine delight his visits bring the goblin.
