Description
I have completely stoped development on DS mods so please feel free to use this and upload your own versions.


Stinger Pack: Full of stinging goodness!

Now with:


This mod will add many items that use bees and there stingers. Check the mod configuration page in DS to change item values.



Bee Stinger Trap

Like the tooth trap but easier to make. Start placing these bad boys to ward off intruders.

Default -
10 uses
20 damage
+- 80 poison dmg
Ingredients:
  • Twigs
  • Rope
  • Stingers


Crown of Thorns
Adds poison resistance and armor
+- 50 poison dmg to attacker
Ingredients:
  • Twigs
  • Silk
  • Stingers

Causes you and your attacker to take poison damage. Provides no armor buff but increases your resilience to poison.

Beelixirs
*Not implemented yet

Several concoctions to help with your day to day.
  • Berserker Beelixir - Combat Enhancer
  • Obsession Beelixir - Increase Follower Loyalty
  • Lucid Beelixir - Boost Sanity


Driftwood Stinger

Default -
10 damage
+- 50 poison dmg
Ingredients:
  • Boards
  • Cut Grass
  • Stingers

A board with a large stinger through it. Ouch it stings.

so yeah if this mod gets working i would love to use it cuse i got like a hella lot of stingers but no use for them

I like the concept of this MOD. But unfortunately it crashes when I use it together with other MODs.

So do the poison effects stack? Like, is there any point in hitting an enemy with the Driftwood Stinger a second time before the poison effect wears off apart from dealing an extra ten damage?

If only Klei would make the recipe for bee mines include stingers, I wouldn't have chests full of stingers. Great mod!

I have lots of stingers in my current game and I thought this mode would finally make them useful but I can't use it as it crashes before the game is even launched...
Could you fixed it please ?

I feel that the Crown of Thorns should be able to let you feed Bees honey and they'll be your companion, and they would be able to fight for you!

Would you be able to make the stinger traps compatible with "Examine Traps First"
by [#!].mouse? They don't conflict, but it would be cool if your traps were covered by the mod.
