OCvC Albatross — a project conceptually similar to the Vulture-class, though somewhat heavier and better armed. A versatile and highly adaptable vessel, it also remains relatively inexpensive to produce. Unfortunately, it is not capable of sustained operations on the open sea without support.

Following its recent modernization, the Albatross class has returned to active duty as a low-cost coastal warfare platform — a role it is likely to retain for some time, as the latest generation of frigates is ill-suited for such close-range tasks.
