Description
I needed a longer ramp so I could drive my cars up but I couldn't find anything on the workshop that worked, maybe I'm just blind but I made this anyways and I've published it if anyone else wants to use the blocks :)

This is the first mod I've created for space engineers, it might be a little wonky but feel free to comment if anything needs fixing and I'll take a look at it <3

I've made a category for it and added a varient group so you only need to put 1 block in your hotbar :D
You can also paint and texture these, I've noticed if you combine both these blocks and the default square armor blocks it'll add the border around it like it does if you've got different painted blocks, not sure how to fix that yet

A nice, clean, easy to use building tool.

What did you actually have to do to make this mod? I'm also in a position where I have a specific shaped armor block I need that just isn't in the game, in my case something that will transition from the profile of the half slope inverted to the profile of the slope 2x1x1 base, and I think the only way to get that block might be to make it myself.

Nice.
Standard block, 45' incline, 22.5' incline split into two blocks, and now this. A REALLY shallow angle! Nice indeed!
Though as some point, having REALLY long armor slope blocks is more PCU friendly, it doesn't always look good. It's nice to use more detail.

@code we already have piece blocks. Huge versions of blocks is see as a PCU aswell timesaving method depending on what you are building. So yes "amp blocks up to like 6/7/8/9/10 blocks long" would be a nice thing to have and keeping other armor collections in mind helps overall to to invent the wheel twice.

just to show a few others that include larger blocks

Can you list what blocks and dimensions are included? Is the ramp a 1x5x1 or is it 5 separate blocks?

I'd love to see ramp blocks up to like 6/7/8/9/10 blocks long. And if it's possible, I'd love angled catwalk blocks in the same lengths.

Not to discourage you but there is a mod for some longer ramp blocks called 'DEP Armor Block Collection 1.26'. If you could do something different with different block types (like scaffold blocks, steel plate blocks, etc) you could differentiate your mod quite a bit. cc/ @oldeafone @qazyboy88

I sort of agree with @ThePropheticWarrior that having piece blocks makes for more options when building but I do like the idea of single long blocks so I can do long ramps without having to use 1k 1x1x1 blocks.

Yeah I saw the texture stuff, I'll be looking at that soon :D I called it combined slopes because I started off with them all separate and just put them all in one mod together and didn't really know what to name them so combined slopes it was haha

~ Something I just wanted to add to my last comment ~

Extended slopes also have issues with their textures stretching, which is also looks to be something you may be addressing!

Something that really bugs me though, is that all the extended slopes (ie: 1x6) have issues with combining textures with other blocks. Perhaps if the blocks were treated as modular, like vanilla 1x2 slopes (being divided up into two sepatate blocks), may fix that? If the blocks were divided up like that, it would give more options for creative builds - at least!

I see that the sloped edge of the colored ramp that you uploaded comes very close to fixing that - but unfortunately, the sides have not. But yeah, I (and we) can't wait to see what comes next!

After saying all this, I just noticed how you're calling this a "combined" slope! If anyone else is wondering what he means - basically, there are 1x2 slope tips on top of the "stepped" block...:steamhappy:

Thank you :) I'm planning to add many more variations of the slopes and that, if you have any ideas feel free to send them my way :D

There are other ramp mods out there, even ones with different curves included. Nicely done though!
