Loadouts that i've used to some extent during auric maelstroms, the icon is temporary but it sure does capture my feelings for when vet keystones come out. I will gradually add videos for each build

Intro
Weapons are chosen based off of what I have personal experience using

Out of all the listed builds, my go-to builds for havoc are:
Veteran: Havoc Double Barrel Swap
Zealot: Havoc Dash Build
Psyker: Havoc Voidblast/inferno Build (mostly using voidblast)
Ogryn: Havoc taunt ogryn (with pickaxe)

General Terms
qq
Quickswap - Quickswap. Double quick swap press used to cancel animations and return melee weapons back to their initial chain
bc
Block Cancel. Block tap to cancel the current melee chain and return to the beginning. Both qq and bc are good for chaining favourable initial swings eg heavy 1 if its an overhead and the rest of the swings are sweeps (eg Turtolsky Mk IX Heavy Sword)
shs
(x) Shot Headshots. How many shots to the head it takes to kill
sbs
(x) Shot Bodyshots. How many shots to the body it takes to kill

This build is mostly just relying on high damage, single ADS bolter shots to kill mostly anything in one or two shots. It fully commits to backline role, but has bleed nades for all of your horde damage and for a bit of CC when you need it. Works really well in havoc if you have a relatively stable frontline that lets you fully focus on where specials spawn and shooting elites whenever there arent specials nearby
Ranged Weapon

Preferred: Pinning Fire, Puncture or Fire frenzy
Carapace, Maniac

Munitorum Mk VI Power Sword (any mark works)
Power Cycler, Sunder. Alternatives: Brutal Momentum, Rampage, Shred, Slaughterer, Wrath, Supercharge. The focus is damage with the least weapon special activations.
Maniacs help a lot for breakpoints, flak, unarmoured, are also good for breakpoints
Into hordes i will Weapon Special - Heavy, if i have Power Cycler then Weapon Special - Heavy - Heavy, if i have Brutal Momentum i will Weapon Special - Light 3x and repeat, and Weapon Special - Push Attack or Heavy into armour. Weapon Special - Lights into rager heads staggers them well
Maccabian Mk IV Duelling Sword
Preferred: Agile, Uncanny Strikes. Alternatives: Shred, Thrust. Agile is mostly to reinforce your ability to spam dodge and not die. Shred or thrust will help increase your damage output instead.
Flak for better breakpoints into headshotting scab ragers. Maniac for the same reason. Stamina can be take as well for more running or blocking
For hordes: Light Spam
For Elites: Heavy spam or Heavy - Weapon Special spam
Munitorum Mk I Sapper Shovel
Take a Swing, Uncanny Strike
Maniac, Flak
For Horde: Heavy spam is pretty safe, mixing in lights will help kill things faster
For elites/Single Target: Maximize Push Attack which is your highest damage attack, includeas many light attacks as you need to keep attacks up when youre low stamina.

The idea of this build is to try to dps through elite spam in havoc, through the use of plasma and kraks to kill elites and the shout to buy you time if necessary. Keep Their Heads Down!, the 50% suppression node, is suprisingly useful on plasma. it makes it much more ammo efficient at suppressing enemies, which is fairly nice once you reach the later havocs with large ammo penalties.

Spam left clicks mostly into groups of elites and youll kill them quickly. Crits or headshots are fairly effective, so i want to maximize crits incase i miss a headshot. Blaze Away could be taken over Gets Hot!, but I find myself shooting fairly slow to make sure I hit the headshot to maximize ammo.
Ranged Weapon
Blessings
Perks
M35 Magnacore Mk II Plasma Gun
Preferred: Rising Heat, Gets Hot!. Alternatives: Blaze Away, Gloryhunter
Flak for better breakpoints, crit for more consistent crits.

Usually I take power sword, but its low mobility can be a real hindrance so something like duelling sword with high mobility could be taken.
Melee Weapon
Blessings
Perks
Swing Combo
Achlys Mk VI Power Sword
Preferred: Power Cycler, Sunder.
Maniac, Flak Armoured. Flak is a common armour type in havoc, especially with mobian 21st mutator. Ragers will be your biggest threat, so ideally you want to kill them sooner rather than later. Stamina is an alternative.
There's a weird quirk with power sword; with your first activation, the three lights you do will all be sweeps. When you activate it immediately afterwards, it starts on Light 2.
With that said, the horde combo is: Activate - Light - Light - Light, Activate - Light - Light - Heavy. Lights have similar 3rd+ target damage profile to heavies, so the faster swings are going to be more efficient.
Elite combo is: Activate - Push Attack - Light - Heavy. You could do Push Attack - Heavy - Heavy, but the headshot is easier to hit with the followup Light.
Catachan Mk IV "Devil's Claw" Sword
Wrath, Shred.
Stamina, Crit. Its a little bit about leaning into high damage parry crits. I found block efficiency didnt actually make my blocks or parries cost any less stamina so i skip it
For Horde: Light - heavy loop, occasionally do a parry.
Against elites: Heavy - BC or parry

This build is fairly high efficiency with ammo, between free shots on crit, and ammo aura, you dont really need to pick up ammo ever. Practically i think this build is slightly off meta due to weapon choice, but it has been fairly effective nonetheless.

Usually I opt for mk 4 helbore, but I have had a decent experience using the Kantrael Mk X Heavy Laspistol. It is less capable of killing elites, especially carapace elites. But it is much more capable into specials, and with that much quicker to swap to. If you do take it, I would drop the 25% swap speed, One Motion, either for more damage, or more crit chance.
Ranged Weapon

Perks
Lucius Mk IV Helbore Lasgun
Preferred: Surgical, Weight of Fire.
Maniacs, Carapace.
Kantrael Mk X Heavy Laspistol
Preferred: Infernus, DumDum. Alternatives: Raking Fire
Maniacs, Crit Chance.

With this build I opt usually for Turtolsky Mk IX Heavy Sword, for a decent mix of horde clear and mobility. But if you can forgo horde clear then duelling sword mk 4 is a good pick, and if you can forgo mobility then power sword mk6 is strong

This build is fairly high efficiency with ammo, we will mostly be left clicking since it has a better minimum pellet count efficiency than right clicking. Snipers will die pretty quickly to long range shots because of the minimum pellet count, 3 shots without crit or 1 crit + 1 non crit shot will kill a sniper regardless of distance.

The build will heavily rely on shooting with crit, and shooting into non-carapace bulks of enemies.
Ranged Weapon

Two variations to the build: Thunder hammer with flamer, and tactical axe with bolter.
Thunder hammer with flamer is much less mobile and more reliant on team being able to screen, but you have a flamer to do overwhelming horde damage.
Tactical axe with bolter has really good captain dps, especially void shield damage, but is worse against regular bosses. you have more mobility, are less reliant on the team, and it is generally easier to survive. Bolter is there to cover carapace weakness.

i have started to try out replacing I Shall Not Fall with Duellist. More damage against monsters, worse survivability against gunners and somewhat worse against bosses. To be determined if I like it more. Alternatively taking Second Wind over Enduring Faith for toughness dodge and a regular reliable DR over crit DR

For almost everything, just heavy spam
Atrox Mk II Tactical Axe
Preferred: Brutal Momentum, Headtaker
Flak, and Stamina or unyielding
For almost everything, push attack -> heavy or heavy spam. If theres elites in a group, light attacks will be good damage, but mixing in heavies helps control

Dash requires you to be able to dive gunner groups confidently. If you dont have a team that will dive with you, you can use flamer to suppress and kill gunners. Start a right click long spew, and try to dash towards the deepest gunners, shoot towards as many as possible to keep suppression up and kill them. If you start flaming, then dash, you can dash a long distance while keeping up the flamer fire for suppression. its really nice to do since you also wont be cancelled by getting shot and having toughness broken since youre invulnerable to range during the dash

A safe build into havoc. Trauma helps dealing with mass ogryn and elites, doing decent damage and having really good control to prevent you from being overrun. Inferno provides a little more damage at the cost of control, good for when you already have enough control. You can play really aggressively because of how much hp you can light spamming with cleaver, you can easily outheal gunners as long as you have decently timed dodges. Worst case you can use charge as a get out of jail free card.

This one uses nuncio as a means to show you can take whatever ult you want, but also because it can be a really nice way to generate toughness during boss fights because otherwise your best bet for toughness gen is blocking attacks, and you wont gain stamina much because you wont be able to kill anything to instantly refill stamina

the big difference between the two is that bolter is more burst oriented, so boss will die faster but the big drawbacks is that bolter is a slow pull out which makes it more awkward to use as a special sniper, and much less ammo efficient to kill a boss compared to the mk8 exterminator shotgun. the shotgun uses less of the ammo in its pool. in the tests i did i used 15.5% of my ammo to kill a h40 plogryn that wasnt moving, with 100% hs rate, with skullcrusher but no other buffs. while also using 4x special shot. if you used regular shots, it would be 20% of your total ammo. while bolter used 34.5% of my total ammo. this is in addition to the small ammo pickup efficiency of the shotgun: you get 5 shells (6.25% of your ammo) + 6 special shells for a total of 12.8% ammo refilled including all special shells. because of this, i will try to overuse special shots, shooting specials and things that dont benefit from the 25% brittleness (lasting 8s) just for the better ammo efficiency. This compared to bolter which gets 8 shots back per small ammo, which is 6.4% of your total ammo.
tl;dr shotgun build for more well rounded build, bolter build to double down on boss killing

Axe + shotpistol based boss build. This one gets a different category because rather than focusing on ranged weapon for boss damage, we use axe for boss damage and our ranged weapon for control + special sniping. i have a lot of fun with this build because i try to use shotpistol weapon special push every 5 or 6 axe swings into a horde, and i try to maximize how often i swap to shotpistol to CC elites with heavy weapon special.

for higher levels of control i love using the shock shield. block shots, flash the enemies and you do pretty good damage. really respectable damage from the shield, and shotgun will make up for the lack of mass elite killing power.

alternatively theres this crusher build that is stagger and parry based (with dog). fairly safe in my experience

Castigator + shock mine build; this build i use when i feel like i will have to try to be more clutch focused or i have to anchor more. the shockmines have insane uptime and refill often, you can more or less use one for every encounter with elites where theres more than you feel like you can safely deal with. The shock mines will help guarantee rescues and revives as well. Castigators is there to minimize any random positioning mistakes from resulting in death. You could take the 50 damage max talent, but between castigators and just playing better, i think its an unnessecary for my own capabilities, and when i did use it, i think i only had its effect trigger once over three or so games.
