In the vanilla game Ikko Ikki are one of the only factions that doesn't have access to Warrior Nuns (Alongside the Otomo) this mod simply makes Nuns available for them.

TT's original mod added them for custom battles & multiplayer but not campaign and was also unfortunately also incompatible with other mods that edited vanilla units as it overwrote vanilla unit tables.

They're recruitable starting from tier two Ikki temples (Jodo Shinsu Monastery) and also as a garrison unit gaining upto a maximum of three units at level 4 temples.

As the first person to say something on the original mod page about why it was incompatible, thank you for doing something I didn't do myself.

I tried doing a custom battle and 4 minor things so far:
- There's a annoying black screen whenever I pass the cursor over the unit thumbnail in the selection menu, sometimes I get a vertical line
- In that same menu, there's 2 Nuns whereas for example the Hattori there's only one
- In battle, their name doesn't appear when I pass the cursor over them
- And for some reason the enemy swtiches from drums to the Empire/Napoleon trumpet lol really bizarre

But other than that, they work nicely! :)

That's been a pretty common bug with any mod that adds units for years, not sure why it happens myself.

Sinfonia Semplice used to fix it for me, but doesn't seem to work for me anymore, maybe you'll have better luck.

For some reason, this mod breaks shooting arrow sounds for Bow Warrior Monks. With this mod, sound is replaced with shooting sound of Matchlocks.

Thanks for the mod! I've never understood why the Ikko Ikki lose out on nuns.

Sidenote, While the mod does fully work (as far as I'm aware) I haven't had a chance to extensively playtest as another faction yet. Ikki never usually survives long in my experience but other factions unlock Nuns at a higher tier than I've set here.


If it turns out the AI Ikki love spamming them I might bump them up to a research tier equivalent to every other faction.
