NC6 Gauss SAW

The NC6 Gauss SAW is a light machine gun available to the New Conglomerate. It is unlocked through purchasing the weapon in game. But the real OG's of Planetside 2 remember that this beast of a gun used to be the starting LMG for the Heavy Assault. The NC6 Gauss SAW is considered to be one of if not the best gun in Planetside 2. This LMG has quite the learning curve but once it is mastered, it is a well renounded weapon. Until the NC won the Outfit wars and they decided to nerf the Gauss SAW but it's not that big of a nerf but it's still funny our reward is a nerf.

Anyways back on track, the weapon comes with a script that will change It's values to match that of the NC6 in Planetside 2. I will compare it to the NC1 Gauss Rifle/AF-19

The NC6 Gauss SAW is a gun that has 100 rounds in it and fires 500 rounds per minute while dealing a lot of damage and packs a serious punch it is capable of penetrating 3 zombies and deals 65 points of damage where as the Gauss Rifle penetrates 2 and will deal 50 points of damage. The Gauss SAW is the Perfect weapon for crowd control against the zombie horde. However the inaccuracy of the Gauss SAW makes it more viable in close quarters or general crowd control. you might struggle trying to snipe that Smoker across the map unless you crouch or have laser sight's.

My aim wasn't to make the Gauss SAW better then the Gauss Rifle. I wanted to have the Gauss Rifle focus more on long range accuracy while still dealing high damage. The jack of all trades weapon, and the Gauss SAW Specializes in crowd control and high magazine damage. the TTK with the Gauss RIfle is still relatively the same do to the rate of fire differences. However the Gauss SAW is overall better at shredding special infected do to it's large magazine.

As usual with my other weapon mods, this is just a small project and doesn't feature reload animation for first person hands.

The Script mod is not needed but it's recomended if you want the full experience. Note in the video i was using an Infinite ammo version by changing the reserve ammo type to Pistol instead of Assault Rifle.
