Description
(While digging through my old mods, I found this one made back in early 2017 that still works for the current version of Starbound, but I had trouble uploading to the workshop back then, well better late than never)

This mod makes so that most of the mobs that spawn in the wild don't attack unless provoked, yet their dungeon based versions will still attack on sight (Just to keep things interesting).

The list of mobs I left with their base game behavior is actually shorter than the list I changed, so I will mention those instead and why :

Adult Poptop - He looks mean and nasty
Peblit - His idle makes him invulnerable
Snaggler - He also has a way to become invulnerable
Erchius Ghost - So you still have a hazard on moons
Trictus - He is invulnerable while still in the ground
Hypnare - He was already passive by default
Orbide - Same reason as Peblit and Trictus

Just about every other mob was changed, with the exception of the procedural generated ones, all of them on the Ruin's planet, and again the dungeon versions of the uniques.

Note: There are two mobs I changed the behaviors, but they are still aggressive anyway, Crabcano and Taroni tend to attack first (They seem to have another script controlling them).

(There is no need for a screenshot since there are no visual changes that can be shown)

Here is the original link to the CF Forums version, nothing really changed except for the metadata and description for the Steam workshop:

Ah okay no worries. Did you manage to figure out anything about them at all, like for example their actual spawn mechanics or frequencies?

I never figured out what controls the behavior of the mob that spawn in the dungeons, that is why that they still work same like in the base game

This is an interesting read, thanks for your work^^ I've dabbled a little in tweaking some mob behaviours myself, but I had limited success. I found how to do most of the unique mobs which spawn in the wild, however I could never find how to adjust the dungeon variants. If you would be willing, would you be able to give me a pointer or two where to look in the files to find them perchance?

give the neutral mobs a hunger system, eventually they'll go kill you or other animals

honestly kinda like that some of them are still aggresive, makes them have more distinct behaviors
