===== Model Introduction, Origin, and Details Summary =====

Portal 2 is a game where you spend a lot of time running, shooting portals, and avoiding incoming gunfire. But have you ever just wanted to stop, and take a break? Take a load off your feet for a while? There's loads of chairs around in Aperture, long-forgotten by the posteriors that once sat upon them. At most usually holding the occasional box, nowadays. So why don't you warm 'em up, and, as is often said in meetings about taking things too literally… take a seat?

This addon features 12 (13) chairs from Portal 2, for ease-of-access, with most of them having been fixed up a bit for better use! (If you want to make these functional entities, be my guest)

The original model went unused in Portal 2, lacking collision and only being used in an animation test. I added collision

The Relaxation Vault motel chair.
The original model went unused in Portal 2, and a different version with red fabric is used instead in a grouped model. It also lacked collision, instead being used in an animation test. I separated the red chair from its group model and gave them both collision

The decayed version of the previous chair, dilapidated after many years of the Relaxation Center being in disrepair
I added collision and isolated it from its group model

Portal 2 has a lot of really nice decorative props. And The Stanley Parable very much shares that sentiment, using a lot of Portal 2's office props, some altered to fit the setting better. So why not make them easier to use in Garry's Mod?

All models originally made by Valve for Portal 2--I only altered them for functionality purposes.

I also thought about at least making it so you needed Portal 2 for the textures, because, you know, fairness, and all that, but for a pack of chairs? Unsure if that's necessary. So I included them. If you think I shouldn't have included them, sound off in the comments, and I guess I'll remove them from the addon and make it so you have to mount Portal 2 to get the textures. I dunno.

No, these are only models. But, you can use them in tandem with the "Sit Anywhere" addon to make it work. (You may just have trouble facing forward on some of them, as seen in the preview images on this addon)

Oh, you still wanted that.

Well, I have a lot I'm working on, and I'm especially trying to get some stuff done before the year ends, so you may have a bit of a wait.

Still, if you have Portal 2 installed and mounted, you can spawn the original props and work around trying to use them instead in the meantime.

The Relaxation Vaults consist of many props used together, along with some map geometry. The opening Relaxation Vault seen in my Aperture Takeover map has the exterior shell remade as a custom model, so as to wrap it around the interior room; Portal 2 itself never actually does this, due to some level trickery, and some of the custom map creators who use the vault in their maps either don't make it accurate or connect it with world portals.

So, with all that in mind, at most, I could make the base, unfurnished room as a prop, with the container wrapped around it, and give some of the models used inside new collision meshes, but you'd still have to re-furnish it yourself when using it.
