"Bigger, quite simply, is better."

I have always been a fan of objects far larger than they needed to be. As such I have created a few new megastructures to share with liked minded fellow fans of needless large things.

The balancing here is probably a bit poor, but it is a first attempt. The current additions of 3 stellar engines are all late game megastructures that can only be researched if you first research habitats, and star fortress construction.

Although there are only 3 megastructures currently more are planned, as well as throwing in some more canon megastructures, such as transwarp hubs and potentially a pre-built dyson sphere.

Compatibility Notes:
I tried to keep it light with overwrites but there were a few that couldn't be avoided, but thankfully its only UI

- Overwrites the interface/megastructure_selection.gui UI file
- Overwrites the interface/megastructure_view.gui UI file
- Overwrites the interface/mapicons.gui UI file

NOT IRONMAN COMPATIBLE

What are the three structures, and what exactly do they do?

try researching the tech "tech_mm_mega_aspirations" via command and then they should pop up. if its an invalid tech or nothing happens the problem is likely a launcher issue

Hey Bread sry i didnt even look at the time sry no insult intended the only reason i ask is i have your mod active but for some reason i cant find any megastructures. Will they come up as a tech ? i have tried 2 new game starts so far and played through to the borg crisis and not had the tech appear not that i remember anyway. Ty again for all your efforts.

Why would you ask if it will be updated to the current version 6 hours after its released.
It already is upto date since it was made with the current version entirely in mind.
