Description


Adds the Eanna, a new unique district for Sumer, replacing the Holy Site. The Eanna has its own adjacency bonuses focused on urban cores around rivers as well as Ziggurats, to which it provides further yields throughout the game. Ziggurats can no longer be placed adjacent to one another.

The Eanna (Sumerian: É-AN.NA = "House [of] God [made of] Stone") was the grand temple complex in the city of Uruk. In Sumerian city states, the temple was not just a house of worship but also served as the social and economic center of the realm. The temple owned significant tracts of land itself and under the eyes of scribes collected and distributed food and other resources centrally.

  • Major adjacency bonus from City Center, River, Oasis, and Natural Wonders.
  • Standard adjacency bonus from Ziggurats.
  • Ziggurats in this city receive +1 Gold for every building in the Eanna district.
  • Ziggurats can no longer be built next to each other.

Compatible with Sukritact's Sumer Rework.

Fully compatible with the District Expansions, comes with custom models for the Altar, Monastery, Hospitium, and Garden buildings.

Requires Gathering Storm because I used some elements from the Grand Bazaar for the model.

Dont know what it is but the past couple games the AI Gilgamesh isnt building any buildins in his Eanna even well into the mid to late game

your mod has been translated by Junky into German and the translation is now part of the German translations for Civilization VI mods mod pack.

While the favelas of Rio are certainly well-known and fairly unique structures, adding them as a unique district or so would be a really difficult undertaking in terms of doing so tactfully. There is also the issue of creating a desire to build them in the first place. While there is human agency behind the establishment of informal settlements - the residents live that way due to all alterantives available to them being *even worse* - this is often in direct opposition to formal social, economic, political, and legal power. As a player, you are basically inseparable from these authorities, though, so you're bound to run into some tonal dissonance.

For now, I have gone the easy route for the "2nd unique infrastructure" series with Brazil and allowed them to build both unique entertainment districts in the same city. Maybe one day I'll give them a proper new building or improvement, but I currently have no plans for that.

Hello! Big fan of your work. Can I ask you to add an unique district for Brazil, the Favelas? It would replace the Neighborhood district, is cheaper to build and gives Culture based on Housing, as well as Toursim after Flight, but also -1 Amenity.
