Shark Bots

Description
>>>*This mod is part of the Zerg Collection Volume I, DO NOT use this mod along said collection or you'll crash. Choose one.*<<<

This mod adds the Shark Bots to the Chaos Dwarfs.
They are integrated with the Chaos Dwarfs cap system and are available through the military beasts building chain.
They are sharing the Hell-Forge upgrades with the Bull Centaurs.
This unit is pretty much experimental since I had to make some compromises with the custom model's leg zone and the unit seem to suffer some clipping while performing certain animations.
It's fully functional though so I'm kinda happy with the result anyway.
The general idea behind this unit is that the Chorfs took some Squigs and "upgraded" them with mechanical stuff and then fused them with lesser Daemons through Daemonsmithing, which is why this unit is both Squig and Daemon.
And that's pretty much it.

*QA*

-"Lord's Red line?Tech buffs?"
I gave them generic Chaos Dwarf monster & beast unit sets, so they should get buffs related to those sets.

-"SFO/Radious ecc. ?"
As a matter of fact I'm officially retired from SFO/Overhaul related mods.
As always: If you already have previous experience in SFO submodding feel free to make an SFO version out of any of my mods that are currently missing one, I will link your submods if you provide me with a link.

-"Your mods are ugly and janky, why? just why?"
Here's a friendly reminder: I'm just an amateur and nothing more.
If you want beautiful stuff with no jank then stick with CA and/or professional modders and avoid my mods, simple as that really.

And that's all I guess!
Credits time!

Thanks to Reaver and his Chorf minies designs!
Thanks to Phazer for RME editor!
Thanks to H3ro and his great tool!
Any of this would not have been possible without Frodo45127's RPFM which is still updated to this very day, thank you!
I would also like to thank Sebidee and Caligula for their great modding guides!
And I would like to thank you!
Whatever you liked my mod or not thanks a bunch for giving it a try!

Ok, I forgot about that >_> You're right.

Nah.
That would only make sense in the specific case that you are using this mod + Chorfs Expanded Roster.
Chorfs Expanded Roster renames the vanilla's Hell-Forge "Flying Monsters" category to "Monsters" which is why you can now see the Siege Giant and the flying units in the same category.
People using vanilla without Chorfs Expanded Roster would just see a bunch of Squigs in the Flying Monsters category.

Maybe the Monster category in the Manufactory would be a better fit? Expanded Roster placed there a Siege Giant, so a cute fiery-metal squig would fit as well ^^

I'm inclined to think that mercenaries/monster pen overseers would be the best compromise.
Temple guards would probably be too much for the "abomination" crowd.
Minotaurs are renowned for guarding sacred sites but the thing is that we are talking about Beastmen and Chaos Gods' sacred sites.
While Chaos Dwarfs make business stuff with other Chaos factions often, the Hashut/Chaos Gods relationship is shaky at best and He would probably not like Chaos Gods' guardians around his temple.
Thematically speaking they wouldn't fit nor into the K'daais or the Bull Centaurs cap/upgrade system and should have a separate custom one, but that's something that I most likely can't pull off (which is also why I dropped these Squigs in the Bull Centaurs cap/upgrade system and called it a day).

That is, mechanically, they would be ordinary minotaurs but without the Woodsman traits, with better armor, attack and Malign Authority. Probably in anti-tank and anti-personnel versions. Recruitment would be carried out either in monster pens or on the Altar of Fire. They have a limit. However, it is difficult to say where they should be better attributed to K'daais or Bull Centaurs

Theoretically? Well, probably those few minotaurs who managed to be captured, bought or persuaded to join the service, most likely, they would be higher in status than ordinary slaves, but lower than dwarves. But still higher than hobgoblins, because of their high combat capability. They are very good guardians by nature, are great at navigating mazes and are excellent at suppressing disorganized crowds. Therefore, dwarves would most likely make heavy armor for them and give them heavy weapons, using them to suppress slaves and break through the enemy formation. In the end, all you need to do is direct them towards the enemy, their bloodlust will do the rest. In peacetime, they would most likely have been used as temple guards, to subdue violent slaves and overseers in monster pens.
They are not suitable as a regular workforce - they go on a rampage too easily.

Sorry, I don't take direct requests but only suggestions.
But even as a suggestion Minotaurs and Chaos Dwarfs are kinda messy.
For an unloreful mod is no biggie and everything goes but if we are talking about Lore Friendly territory we have different crowds saying very different things, mainly:
-The ones who claim that Chorfs see Minotaurs as abominations and find them an affront to Hashut
-The ones who claim that Chorfs see Minotaurs as inferior beings because they are not Chorfs and would use them as slaves at best
-The ones who claim that Chorfs would not care and just use Minotaurs as mercenaries to bolster their ranks
-The ones who claim that Minotaurs are somehow integrated with the Chorf society because Blood Bowl says so which is...uh...not exactly the best place for lore related stuff if you ask me, but to each their own I guess
I would be EXTREMELY undecided about how Chorfs' Minotaurs should look like, to say the least.
