The ship is comparable in size to the AF's Executioner and Leviathan classes of battleships, and has begun to replace the latter in many AF formations. Compared to its predecessor the Executioner, the Garmr is estimated to be around 15% more costly, however packs much greater capabilities, including an incredibly powerful pulsed plasma cannon capable of melting through any armor that its main guns cannot penetrate. Analysis of sunken Garmrs have also revealed that the ship's own armor scheme seems to have been futureproofed to be resistant to plasma projectiles, most likely in response to the leaks on the progress of ███████ and ██████ ███ plasma weapons programs. The Garmr also posses its own dedicated air defense system comprised of three pulsed laser turrets with their own independent targeting mainframe. The laser is designed to take out the engine systems of aircraft and ballistic missiles, leaving them dead in the water. While boasting an improved air defense suite, the Garmr completely lacks any kind of anti-submarine weapon, with ASW duties often dedicated to escorting Cerberus and Nereid class ships. .

Sweet, thanks man. Love using your ships but the broken turrets really hurt how usable they are.

Update broke the turrets since it patched some unintentional clipping. I have a version with the turrets fixed but can't update it ATM as there's a problem with Steam Cloud that's preventing me from updating workshop files.

Is the plasma accelerator supposed to only be a one axis? Currently it doesnt spin, unless my game is bugged.

The side guns are DIF flak CIWS, so they fire 20m long aps shells that are designed to take out entire volleys of cram shells or large missiles.

The Xoltol's guns also double as CIWS and its shells use fin stabilizers for extreme accuracy to take out small/medium missiles launched by most planes.

so im trying to learn by taking peoples craft apart... why do the cannon on the side fire such slow flack shots?

also why does the Xoltol class Air Defense Cruiser miniguns fire shots that are only fins with ap head?
