Description
"It's not over yet!'

Dr. Wily's ultimate creation, created to destroy only to become humanity's greatest hero: Zero! With techniques from nearly every one of his appearances, he will finish the mission. He has a unique mechanic, in which quickly double tapping the special button when performing any special will yield a different attack; this makes him extremely versatile, but also complicated to use at his full potential.

GIMMICK: DOUBLE SPECIAL
Quickly double tapping the special button will yield an alternate special attack, giving him double the special attacks in comparison to most fighters.

A: TRIPLE SLASH COMBO
Hu Ha Ho to your heart's content. Fast and simple attack. From Mega Man X4-X5.

SIDE A: YOUDANTOTSU
Push the opponent away with a wood-element forward thrust. Oppressive horizontal range. From Mega Man X8.

UP A: DENJIN (or ELECTRIC BLADE)
Fast electric slash; doesn't launch the opponent very far, but can be combo'd out of with ease. Holding down the attack button will cause its vertical reach to increase, similarly to its source game. From Mega Man X5.

DOWN A: DUCK SLASH
Fast slash that gimps on ledges if timed correctly. Can also pull opponents inward with the late hitboxes. From Mega Man X6.

DASH A: SHIPPUGA
A devastating multihit slash; the first hit can be cancelled into any attack, being a great combo starter, while the second hit adding more damage and knocking the opponent far away. From Mega Man X4.

SIDE STRONG: RAIJINGEKI
A powerful, far reaching, multihitting attack. However, it has lengthy startup and endlag. From Mega Man X4.

UP STRONG: SHOENZAN
Flaming upwards slash; very long vertical range, and has incredibly high kill power. If the attack misses, though, you'll be wide open to be punished. From Mega Man X6.

DOWN STRONG: MESSENKOU (or CHAOS FLASHER)
Punch the ground, creating a purple force field capable of pushing the opponent away with ease. Excellent attack due to the fact it covers Zero's entire body on its active frames. From Mega Man X5.

NEUTRAL AIR: KUUENZAN
A circular slash; can be cancelled on hit into any attack. Great coverage. From Mega Man X4.

FORWARD AIR: VERTICAL SLASH
Wide forward slash; if it hits in front and above Zero, it will launch the opponent downwards in a meteoric smash. From Mega Man X6.

BACK AIR: HORIZONTAL SLASH
Extremely fast and wide slash; instantly turns around. Great for spacing. From Mega Man X4-X5.

UP AIR: RISING
Upwards slash that can be used to extend jumps and stall lightly in the air. From Mega Man Xtreme 1-2.

DOWN AIR: RAKUKOJIN
Long reaching blade that increases in power and speed the higher it falls. Extremely commital, as it cannot be cancelled. From Mega Man X6.

GROUNDED NEUTRAL SPECIAL 1: ZERO BUSTER / HADANGEKI
Chargeable attack that can fire a single buster shot of varying power, up to two powerful charged shots and a homing saber shot. Based on one of his attack patterns as a boss in X2, X5, and Maverick Hunter X. Hadangeki from Mega Man X7.

GROUNDED NEUTRAL SPECIAL 2: SENPUUKYAKU
Dark spinning kick; can be tilted back and forth, and fall off the ledge. Racks up damage decently well, with a strong last hit, but it's difficult to use. From Mega Man X8.

AERIAL NEUTRAL SPECIAL 1: FISH FANG
A wide water-element slash that shoots out two piranhas at a downwards angle. From Mega Man Xtreme 2.

AERIAL NEUTRAL SPECIAL 2: RASETSUZEN
A stalling spinning attack using an orange saber. It deflects projectiles and racks up damage well. From Mega Man X8.

GROUNDED SIDE SPECIAL 1: JUUHAZAN
Slow but wide slash that completely ignores shields. Gain super armour just before the slash. With the right timing, it deals really high damage and knockback. From Mega Man X8.

GROUNDED SIDE SPECIAL 2: GOKUMONKEN
An invincible stance that parries attacks and deflects projectiles. From Mega Man X7.

AERIAL SIDE SPECIAL 1: RAIKOUSEN
A forward lunge that leaves behind a trail of electricity; can be angled up or down. Great for horizontal recoveries. It leaves Zero on special fall, though. From Mega Man X8.

AERIAL SIDE SPECIAL 2: HISUISHOU (Or FLYING SPLASHER)
Perform an aerial water tackle; hits multiple times. Faster and has more horizontal range than Raikousen, but lacks its power. From Mega Man X5.

UP SPECIAL 1: RYUENJIN
An extremely powerful ascending flaming slash that not only has long vertical reach, but has great kill power. From Mega Man X4.

UP SPECIAL 2: RAIJINSHOU
Invincible wind slash. Launches at a more horizontal angle, making it harder to KO from the top in comparison to Ryuenjin, but it's fully intangible from startup up to its last active frame.

GROUNDED DOWN SPECIAL 1: RAKUHOUHA
Punch the ground, generating many energy shots around the user in a fan shape; great coverage, but slow to come out. From Mega Man X4.

GROUNDED DOWN SPECIAL 2: EARTH GEISER
Strike down all grounded enemies surrounding Zero. From Mega Man Xtreme 2.

AERIAL DOWN SPECIAL 1: HYOURETSUZAN
Hold an icicle sword; it can spike the opponent at any point. Extremely commital, as it cannot be cancelled normally. If an opponent is struck, Zero can immediately jump cancel the attack and make it safe. From Mega Man X4.

AERIAL DOWN SPECIAL 2: ENKOUKYAKU
A powerful flaming divekick with a strong spike which decreases in power the longer it's out. From Mega Man X8 and Maverick Hunter X.

GRAB: D-GLAIVE
Far reaching grab; leaves you open if it misses. From Mega Man X7-X8.

FORWARD THROW: SUIRETSUSEN
Strong forward throw that sends the opponent far away; lacks kill power but has a good starting knockback. From Mega Man X7.

BACKWARD THROW: WIDE SLASH
The second slash from the three hit combo in X6. From Mega Man X6.

UP THROW: SHOURYUUKEN
Sends straight up. Holding up while performing the uppercut will cause Zero to jump up, mirroring its source game. From Mega Man X8.

DOWN THROW: DANCHIEN (or QUAKE BLAZER)
A downwards flaming sword cleave. The most damaging throw, but with the most ending lag. From Mega Man X5.

GET UP A: DUCK SLASH
Low slash. From Mega Man X5.

LEDGE ATTACK: GUARD SHELL
Zero summons an energy shield that completely ignores shields and reflects projectiles. From Mega Man X6.

EDGE DODGE: POINT BLANK ZERO BUSTER
Dodge up the stage and blast the opponent away into the blast zone from behind. Based on his backward throw from Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3.

GROUNDED ULTRA: REKKOHA
Smash the ground beneath, and call forth five light pillars from the sky. Deal 30 damage, and have fairly weak starting knockback, but it has ridiculous range, covering most of Last Stand with ease. However, Zero can be struck for a few frames before the attack comes out, and it has generous ending lag. From Mega Man X6.

AERIAL ULTRA: ITTOURYOUDAN - GENMU ZERO
A wide saber shot that can hit multiple opponents due to its large arc, and at high percentages it can carry opponents into the blastzone. From Mega Man X5 and Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3.

LAP Compatible
Z_XZero
it's XZero because he's the X series version of Zero, and there may be someone who would like to add a LAP compatible Zero series Zero. And there are also a lot of characters named Zero; it's just better to be clear.

Has LAP interactions with:
-X
-Sigma
-Spencer
-Dapper Spencer

OTHER NOTES
He has the stage clear songs from X4, X5, and X6 whenever he wins.
Whenever he shields, he does the Gokumonken pose from Mega Man X7.

CREDITS
Sprites and sounds by Capcom.
D-Glaive sprites by Darkphase.
