Khertland Vehicle Crew Type 2

Khertland vehicle crews is a job such as tankers, but also for lighter vehicles like IFVs, APCs, and others. Light utility vehicles are normally manned by standard infantry however. Vehicle crews are given a submachine gun for self defense in case they have to abandon their vehicles. The compact weapon makes it easy to manipulate inside tight spaces. if they had to abandon the vehicle quickly including leaving their primary weapon behind; they are given a pistol holstered in their chest so it doesn't snag onto anything when evacuating.

The commander of the vehicle also gets a bincoular for spotting and observing. Otherwsie they are lightly equipped retaining body armor and helmet. Instead of NVGs, they get goggles for eye protection with a wire frame ear loop as to not interfere with the communication headset. The headphones have a toggleable noise cancellation so they can hear both the comms and infantry outside the vehicle as necessary. The headset also feature a quick disconnect so the crew can jump oit the vehicle without fumbling around with the wire.

The uniform of the vehicle crew are also distinct from standard infantry uniform by having tighter cuffs and multiple belts to prevent the clothes from being snagged onto anything. The boots are similarly designed with straps to prevent laces from getting snagged or burnt by spent shell casings (for tanks, SPGs, and IFVs). Crew members also have balaclava made of fire retardant materials to prevent burns during vehicle fires. Likewise, vehicle crew members all have fully enclosed gloves for a similar reason.
