Description
Updated for 1.0!

Fairly imbalanced mod, designed to increase the FUN available to the player. Includes Rebalanced changes as default, thus DO NOT USE AT SAME TIME WITH REBALANCE MOD

This mod unlikely to work with any other mod that changes balance.ini. May break with future updates, uses unsupported features to implement dual reactor mechs.

How to handle Dual-Core Mech Oddities

| Thermal Characteristics are based off of first Reactor, but saving and loading causes Reactor #1 to overwrite/clone over Reactor #2.

| Energy Shields (for Dual Core mechs) cannot be toggled on/off without a convoluted process:

  1. Strip all mechs that have modified slots (Holo, Quadro, Tentacle, Castle) of all parts.
  2. Save & exit to main menu. Turn mod off. Load back into save file.
  3. Enable and/or Disable Shields for all Dual Reactor mechs you wish to adjust.
  4. Save & exit to main menu. Turn mod back on. Load back into save file.

Parts you have not removed may vanish during this process!

| Custom OS Programming can only be changed with 1 reactor equipped, otherwise it will lock to Vanilla OS. To get around this, install one reactor, set all desired programs, install second reactor.



Detailed changes (excluding Rebalance):

> Castle -> Rename to Citadel in future
Can use 2 reactors
Base Armor increased by 8 (12)
Increased motor slots by 4 (10)
Speed Reduced to 0.1
Reload time halved
Aux count increased by 2 (6)
Base Weight increased by 50% (153)
Cost increased by 50%
Resist profile changed from 35/95/95 to 70/95/95

> Quadro -> Rename to Octo in future
Can use 2 reactors
Base Armor increased by 7 (8)
Increased motor slots by 2 (8)
Reload time halved
Aux count increased to 8
Cost increased by 100%
Build time increased to 6 days
Resist profile changed from 4/25/95 to 84/5/84
Base Weight increased by 25% (104)

Apparently Mechs with two reactors also cannot get shields unfortunately.

Ye. Was going to try to implement the MMKII in game, but after a few minutes looking at GML I gave up. You can try Skaian's Mod if you ever get bored of the vanilla mechs.
