Expanded Ship Sections v2.5 [Archive]

Description
Mod Version 2.5, for Stellaris v3.9.3
NOTICE: This mod is NOT for the current game version! Please check my collections for the latest version!

This mod began with the motivation to change menacing ships associated with the "Become the Crisis" ascension perk to use the empire's cultural ship designs, but it has now expanded in scope to contain a variety of ship-related gameplay adjustments and fixes.

- Modifies menacing ships so they use the empire's cultural ship models.
- As a result, also adds some extra component combination options for menacing ships.
- Adds carrier-themed sections for Titans.
- Adds a "menacing" version of frigates and battleships.
- Adds picket ship computer to battleships, and corrects some missing ship computers on other ship sizes.
- Reduced cost of upgrading ships with very minor design changes.
- Revised most event-spawned ships to allow merging/adding ships, upgrading, and assigning admirals. These ships will now use naval capacity, and several will be able to drop debris where previously disabled.

NOTE:
As a result of some of the changes made to menacing ship templates, this mod should only be used on a fresh file. Adding or removing this mod on an in-progress save file is likely to result in some instability.

All mods in this collection are designed with modularity in mind, so you can pick and choose to use the components you like, and ignore the ones you don't. None of these mods depend on one another, compatibility with each other is guaranteed, and load order within the collection does not matter.

This is the [Archive] version of the mod, for older version compatibility. If you are finished with a rollback game, please check out my collections to find the [latest] version.
