Description
Rework of AO-DLC campaign

currently SCW till 1945 can be played.

Andrea69 took over the project.
**AOredone - Extended Version

This project has been developed upon AO Redone by Grondel. Its main purpose is to upgrade the campaign experience by adding some cool scripts as Grondel did for AO Redone until AO41 East and most of all to enhance mid/late campaigns editing existing scenarios and even adding several new ones, in particular for the Ahistorical Path. A lot of maps have been added and almost every map in the series has been edited (many of them heavily), with the aim of being not only more historical but also more geographically accurate. By the way it should be added that in some cases this kind of approach contributes to changing the game scenarios significantly, for example by preventing encirclements where previously they were possible on the basis of the game mechanics (imho still weak from many points of view, therefore sacrificeable for greater historical-geographical correctness).
Anyway, before giving more details on this mod, I think it is first of all necessary to thank Grondel for his continuous and invaluable support that he has been able to provide.

can anyone tell me what is the elite reward for early Madrid at SCW, im sick of countless AI spawn and endlessly stuck in the forest right in front of the reward hex -.-

The thing is I just used a 1-2 planes with firststrike so they are not even attacked and used Flak to remove 5-9 points from enemy planes. At that point I just keept everything on the ground covered with Flak and ignored enemy air force. But it feels a bit strange that the aim is to NOT fully kill enemy planes. Personally I liked the Seelöwe missions. They feel quite hard but there are already some heroes so you can play around with different techniques. After that the missions get a bit easy with enough heroes. Well hard to balance I guess ^^

Hello Sovieticozasz, the script you are talking about was inserted mainly to simulate Germany's inability to achieve air supremacy over the RAF in 1940, and I believe that although it is a bit difficult to accept, it performs this task perfectly

@grondel the 10/10 it may not be exactly how it works, but is how it feels. Every 2 turns all the planes seem to be avalable to the enemy. I have just ended sea lion, and one of my anti-air units has literally almost 3k casualties inflicted, alone and more than 300 support attacks aready done. It is just ridiculous, the allies have infinite manponwer, infinite planes and perfect magic logistics in the air U_U.

Great mod, but the Air changes feel pretty strange honestly. The fact that most missions i try to NOT kill enemy planes so that they dont instantly respawn with a full squad, and the fact that fighting in the air is, effectively , useless or even detrimental until you capture EVERY hangar in the map is not a great feeling. Enemy should get 1 squad of reinforcements per turn or something, not every single squad they lose instantly back.

Just finished playing Rhzev. My god, what a mission! Took me almost all day to complete it. Or maybe I'm just a slow player:steamhappy: I remember playing the unmodded version of this mission, but this redone version is definitely a step up. At first I thought this mission design to be a bit sadistic, being in very complicated situation and all, but in the end I managed to complete this mission just fine, elite objective included. It did cost me two 3 star units as casualties though. Played it at Field Marshall difficulty and commander traits cranked up to 5 points. My enabled traits included Infantery General, Master of Blitzkrieg, Auxilliary Force - which came in very handy - Force Concentration, Industry Connections and Bad Luck. So far this mod definitely looks promising. Greetings and thanks!
