Nightmare Uses Attack for Sword moves (A) and Special for Punch kick move (B). I've tried to capture as much of the Soul Calibur essence as I could, so he has 2 stances (Grim Stride and Nightside stance) as well as Some attacks that branch off into others while holding directions. Heres a list of some combinations he does a little bit different to normal platform fighter characters

A,Down A (Forward to Grim Stride)
A While rising from crouch, A
Hold A to go into Night Side stance
Dash While Holding Up or down after intiating
Dash while holding foward and pressing A again
Hold B while releasing Side strong
B While rising from crouch
Forward while rising to go into Grim Stride
Dash B (forward to Grim Stride)
