Description
Everdell with scripted setup and round maintenance

Based off of the mod by Herrsturm. This mod would not be possible without their work.
This mod updates the above mod by adding more scripting, reworking the table layout, and adding more snap points.

CONTENT

Solo modes against Rugwort and Nightweave are included and have scripted setup.
Content included in this mod:
  • Everdell
  • Everdell: Pearlbrook
  • Everdell: Bellfaire
  • Everdell: Spirecrest
  • Everdell: Newleaf
  • Everdell: Mistwood
  • Extra! Extra!
  • Legends
  • Rugwort Cards
  • Corrin Evertail
  • Through Every Season
  • Kindergarten Promo
Rules for the base game and all expansions are located in the mod.

SCRIPTING

Setup and round maintenance are fully scripted. Additional instructions can be found in the notebook in game.

If you encounter any errors while playing, please post about them and I will try to get a fix out ASAP.

@TankMagi [This is the second part of the comment posted below...]

If that doesn't work, there's one more test we can perform just to see if the mod has a problem:
- When you see a tile displaying incorrectly: right-click on it, select Custom, copy the url in the Face textbox, and paste this url into your internet browser and press Enter (this should show you the image the mod is using to display this piece). If the image appears correct in your browser, then that means the issue is on your end, and I unfortunately can't do anything to fix it.
Hopefully the first step will solve your issue, let me know what the results are.

@TankMagi Thanks for letting me know. Unfortunately, I cannot recreate your issue: even with mod caching off the images are still displaying properly for me.
Would you mind performing the following step and see if it fixes the issue:
- On the top row of buttons, click Menu, then Configuration, and on the "Game" tab make sure the box labelled "Mod Caching" is turned off. Then open the Everdell mod (this will make the Everdell mod re-download all its images from the internet, instead of just using the images it saves on your computer). Check to see if the problem still persists. Afterwards, make sure to turn Mod Caching back on (otherwise it will take a long time whenever you open a mod table).

about half the pictures for the Newleaf cards are displaying as lines for me. There are also some Train Card Tiles (the pebble tiles i would guess) that are doing the same. The ticket tokens are also displaying lines. I have to assume that the source for the images got corrupted. These make it hard to impossible to play with the newleaf expansion. There is also a single Map Tile that is doing the same. Thank you for taking the time to maintain this game here.

@Ryuhi The colors are fixed based on your player number, unfortunately. And due to the way this mod was coded, there is no easy way for me to implement the functionality of players choosing their own colors.
Ryuhi 14 Mar @ 7:53am
Is there any method to freely pick your colour, or will it always select a fixed one based on your player number?
We keep trying to select our colours before but it always reverts us to 1st player white and second player brown.

@Kaldyr That is a bug, but it's a bug with TTS itself that I cannot fix. See below for a longer explanation:
The way the numpad1 button works in this mod is that it detects the color of the player who pressed the button and then looks at their player board. When in Hotseat mode, TTS treats all button presses as belonging to player 1 (since in Hotseat mode everyone is using the same keyboard, presumably), so the camera only ever looks at player 1's board.

I've got a problem with num 1 always pointing to player 1 mat when in hot seat. Is this a bug, am I doing something wrong or just the way it's scripted?

I really love your work.
I wish in the future someone could translate this beautiful game into more languages :( being a spanish speaker I have to rely a lot on web translators.

@Emily It works with stacking them into a "deck" with any card and taking them back out, so just putting it on top of another card on your board then moving it to wherever you want it is an option (once you have other cards placed, of course)

I saw it mentioned in one of the older comments but I ran into the bug of cards I played as host not being revealed for other players.
The tip of placing them on the meadow/discard pile before every play worked but was a bit tedious so for anyone who runs into this issue as well: cut and paste with Ctrl+X and Ctrl+V is a quick and easy alternative way of playing the cards without having to move to the meadow or the discard pile every time.
