Jaggid's Sturdy Apparel

Description
Adds 'sturdy' versions of all apparal items, which have decreased decay rates than standard apparel, as well as very slightly better stats. They also come with a higher resource cost and time to craft, and in some cases a higher skill level requirement to craft.

Each category of apparel requires research of the appropriate "sturdy" version at the research desk. These new research projects are unhidden when their pre-requisites have been researched.
  • Sturdy Tailoring - Requires research of Basic Tailoring first.
  • Spaceship Tailoring - Allows tailoring of spaceship jacket and pants.
  • Sturdy Spaceship Tailoring - allows tailoring of sturdy versions of spaceship jacket and pants. Requires Spaceship tailoring research first.
  • Sturdy Veggie Leather armours - Requires research of Veggie leather armours first.
  • Sturdy Leather armours - Requires research of Leather armours first.
  • Sturdy Synthetic Armours - Requies research of Synthetic armours first.
  • Sturdy Carbon Armours - Requires research of Advanced Carbon armours first.

Inspired by the Sturdy Tailoring option in Beyond Stranded, expanded to cover all base game apparel.

One additional feature of the mod is that all footwear provides a movement bonus, albeit a small one. The best bonus is provided by sneakers, with armor-footwear providing the least benefit.

Every time you move these modded clothing items from one wardrobe to another using delivery drones, they lose like 20% integrity. This bug stacks, so you quickly end up with broken items.
And like someone else reported, sometimes (but not often) it seems like these items have the same longevity as the vanilla clothing items.

Besides that, this is really a must-have mod. It’s ridiculous how short lived the vanilla clothes are, tbh.

i do not see any difference between this mod and the standardized game when it come to length of time for clothing decay. Am i missing something. In two season they are in the red like the standard game but they just say sturdy.

I made the sturdy carbon armours before the game added a 2nd carbon armour of it's own.
I felt that having 4 total carbon armours was overkill, so I did miss it, but it wasn't accidental.

additionally the sturdy carbon vest (regular sturdy carbon not improved) stats does not make sense compared to your sturdy synthetic vest stats

just curious i'm not seeing any sturdy improved carbon armors, did you accidentally miss that one or intentional?

I figured it would work. I did literally just copy that part of Beyond Stranded and then go from there. That's the main reason i didn't release this mod a long time ago. I mean, copying is bad.

But then Beyond Stranded was inactive and not updated for a very long time, so I felt fine releasing this one. (Of course, then Beyond Stranded got re-activated, at about the same time...but whatever. LOL)

Looks like you did keep the same IDs for the items, because I see the Beyond Stranded items with their values from that mod, and then the stuff you added which that mod is missing. No duplicates though.
So I see one version without duplicates of Sturdy Shirt, for example, plus your Sturdy Armors of various types added in. Seems to work quite well.

I'm honestly not sure if it works alongside Beyond Stranded or not, but probably. I actually started from Beyond Stranded, and just extended it to the rest of the armours and clothing that it failed to have Sturdy versions of.

You probably would see double versions of all of the Sturdy things it includes though, because I probably did not keep the same item ID's for everything.

Does this work if used alongside Beyond Stranded? I thought it was a bit strange that Beyond Stranded had sturdy versions of basic clothing items, but not any armors.
