Description
A simple mod that gives human civilizations access to pig iron and steel. Human armies will be equipped with steel arms and armor, and human caravans will carry steel bars and trade goods.

Steel was being produced by humans as early as 1800 B.C. The Celto-Iberians of modern-day Spain were some of the best steelsmiths of antiquity. The Roman Empire acquired steel for their legions from Noricum, in modern day Austria and Slovenia. Ancient Indian steel, known as wootz, was exported around the world, and later known by Europeans as Damascus Steel. While this steel was manufactured in a different process than the dwarf fortress method, which wasn't used until the 1500s, humans were no strangers to steel for much of history.

Hi, I'm fairly certain that the current mod does not give human civs access to steel.
The correct changes are actually:
[OBJECT:ENTITY]
[SELECT_ENTITY:PLAINS]
[PERMITTED_REACTION:PIG_IRON_MAKING]
[PERMITTED_REACTION:STEEL_MAKING]

You just need to specify what the entity type is allowed to do, rather than placing a reaction.
If adventure mode is telling the truth, then this should be working.
