Jaggid's Endless Expeditions

Description
The game already has expeditions you can discover via exploration that provide endless resources, but they are all random chance and you won't see more than one or two of them in most playthroughs, if any.

I like to play extended games that last dozens of years, which can create a resource shortage for non-renewable resources that are used a lot for construction. Stone, metal and (on Desertum) wood, specifically. This mod creates endlessly visitable expeditions for those resources, gauranteed in all playthroughs.

The mod is not well-balanced for playthroughs where you just are trying to "win the game", obviously.

Additions/changes list:
  • New "Infinite Ore" expedition
  • New event for falling debris that should cycle it more frequently.
  • Modified breakthrough discovery expedition with a raised threshold for how many unhidden breakthroughs are needed before it stops showing up (changed from 10 to 20).
  • New Meteor Crater expedition for opportunity to gather endless stone, and endless ore and even a little silicon at higher physical skill levels.
  • New Forest Fire expedition, with opportunity to gather endless wood, and endless fuel at higher physical skills.
  • Change to the "Explore" scaling so that the time for exploration should not scale up quite as quickly.
  • Modified the game's default "Endless Happiness" expedition (the Mystic Grove). They will now cure Connor's Infected Vision implant if he visits the stones. They will not remove his vision implants, so eventually re-infection will occur.

mod worked fine for a while, then crashed one of my savegames. Deactivated it, savegame worked. Don't really use other mods except characters and some purely decorative items; it seemed like a conflict with some regular expedition, which appeared after deactivating the mod? not sure.

Other than that nice mod. If I may suggest review expedition names and description, to not be disruptive, but still distinct not to confuse it with other missions.

@drifterella: Are you playing with the mod Beyond Stranded enabled as well? Beyond Stranded introduces a new plant which you can get from a repeatable expedition. I think that's what you are seeing in your game.

No, it does not, @Seipherwood.

There's no mech core expedition which is a guarantee, you just have had some unlucky seeds.

Just wondering, does this mess with the expedition to find Mech Cores? I dont think any of my games have ever had it.

Nice one, but myabe Mystic Grove can temporarily cure Carter's dementia like with Connor's eye?

I can't fix the whole "NEW" thing. I have no idea what causes it or how to remove it. Somehow it's not the case for the blue moss expedition, but comparing it side-by-side, mine are set up identically.

It would drive me crazy playing with a missing icon like that and I certainly don't want to have it showing up for other people that way.
