Description
Křivoklát (German: Pürglitz) is one of the oldest and most important medieval castles of Czech princes and kings. It is situated at an altitude of 285-290 metres on a rocky promontory above the Rakovníkský Brook, a tributary of the Berounka River, in the territory of the municipality of Křivoklát in the Rakovník district of the Central Bohemian Region.
