2000年代起德国HDW造船厂开始与莱茵金属公司开始研究将PzH-2000的炮塔加以修改并安装于水面舰艇上的可能，以其高性能的火炮来强化水面舰艇打击海岸上目标的能力，此计划名为模块化海军火炮概念（Modular Naval Artillery Concept，MONARC）；研究期间，第二与第三艘萨克森级护卫舰先后搭载了PzH-2000进行概念测试。然而在2007年5月中旬，德国海军放弃了MONARC的发展，改以意大利奥托·梅莱拉127mm64倍径舰炮作为替代方案。

Since the 2000s, the German shipyard HDW and Rheinmetall began researching the possibility of modifying the turret of the PzH-2000 and installing it on surface vessels to enhance their ability to strike targets on the coast with its high-performance artillery. This project was named Modular Naval Artillery Concept (MONARC). During the research period, the second and third Sachsen-class frigates were equipped with PzH-2000 for concept testing. However, in mid-May 2007, the German Navy abandoned the development of MONARC and instead opted for the Italian Oto Melara 127mm/64 naval gun as an alternative solution.

本Mod所用之模型基于《Morden Warships》内的“Monarc(155mm)”的模型所制作，对其炮管和炮塔进行了修改，以呈现出更好的效果。

The models used in this Mod are based on the "Monarc (155mm)" model from "Morden Warships". Modifications have been made to the gun barrel and turret to present a better visual effect.
