Pumpjack Operation
Connecting to the Well

1. After using the Inland Oil Rig to drill a well and striking oil, drill until the oil rig’s pumpjack is at the bottom of the drilling derrick and that the “Well Depth” and “Drill Depth” indicators stop increasing. Next, make sure that ALL of the clamps are disconnected.

2. Proceed to now despawn the oil rig then in the workbench load the Pumpjack from EPG into the workbench and spawn it in.

3. The rods will still be spawned in from the oil rig and should slide right into the clamp housing. (If the rods are glitched into the Pumpjack in any way, try grabbing the rod with your hands and moving it or changing the physics setting.)

Running the Well

1. Head into the control panel in the building and turn on “Panel Power”, “Rod Clamps” and “Pumpjack Clamps”. A green indicator will illuminate when the rods have successfully connected to the Pumpjack.

2. You can then turn on “Start Pumpjack” and the Pumpjack will slowly start to turn. You can also control the speed when moving the “Pumpjack Speed” lever. (To make the Pumpjack spin faster, you can turn on “Unlock Full Speed” and set the lever to full.) If the Pumpjack fails to turn, make sure you have the physics setting on high.

3. To stop the Pumpjack, simply press the “Stop Pumpjack” button and the Pumpjack will slow to a stop.

Disconnecting the Well

You can either disconnect the rods by shutting off “Rod Clamps” and “Pumpjack Clamps”, or just despawn the Pumpjack with the clamps still attached and the rods will despawn.

You have to disconnect the rods before you despawn the rig.

This isn't appearing to work for me, when i edit the drill into the pumpjack that rods don't stay and i can't use the pump jack, is there a setting or set up i need to use?
