Fade to Light

Description
Difficulty: Medium

Submitted for the PMaM and Mikeastro "Monoportal Madness" Contest

Music by Mikeastro.

As usual no tight angles, tight timings, or cube throwing. Strafing off the faithplate path is unintended, as well as phasing a cube through the lightbridge.

Cool puzzle! I found that there was a clear progress marker in getting the normal cube up to the area with the companion cube dropper (in such a way that you could also get up there), after which it was clear that I had to be pretty close to the solution, since there wasn't much else I could do that didn't set me backwards by moving the regular cube somewhere else. So that made it not take insanely long to solve. Thumbs up.

Thanks for letting me know the point in time in my last video at which I made an unintended move i.e. 2:10 and that you should have a “simple fix for that eventually...” In the mean time, after some thought and a few dead ends, I found an alternative method of achieving the same result for that part of the sequence. Thanks also for confirming that this is your intended solution. This puzzle has got to be in the top ten of the best puzzles I’ve played to date, i.e. ~10k!

Forgot to comment when I played it. Probably would have written something like: I'm speechless! . Fantastic map as always, best part for me was realizing how important the "back area" was. :tunicgasp:

I was sure I got this as intended, as it felt right, but I seem to think that (and be wrong) far too often these days :( Please comment here, or message direct, when you update, so that I am notified and can retry - cheers

@(TEAM) and @bullfrog Ah, that is pretty close to the solution but there is a timing oversight I hadn't noticed. I'm surprised that I hadn't noticed that up until this point. I suppose this is what I get for mixing so many different timing elements. I should have a simple fix for that eventually...

So this is what I did, I saw it was the intended so I guess I did it correctly https://youtu.be/RyMdY_oO8bk

Brilliant puzzle  and added favourites. I’ve been playing this off and on for a few days. I was pretty sure I’d worked out the end sequence a while ago, I but could not see how to get there. I read @nerdlingnation’s spoiler this morning, but didn’t get it, until now - that was exactly the bit I was missing: intended solution ?
