Description
Dawnstar, capital of the Pale, blustery harbor town of the northern shores, has now been expanded and improved as part of my Bigger and Bolder project! I've added a generous handful of new features to distinguish the town from your average backwater Skyrim settlement and more firmly establish it as the hold capital it is. These features include:

- A humble but nonetheless effective town wall encompassing the village, with a stone main gate, to add a greater sense of strength and security.

- A fully functional stable outside the main gate which sells paint horses at the standard price, run by a young Imperial (Vitus Ilario). His dialogue for selling the horse is recycled from the vanilla voice files used by one of the "backup" hostlers, which makes it unique as long as the original stable masters of the five major cities are alive and well and their replacements don't take over the job.

- Several new docks and rowboats around the harbor, strewn with cargo to add to the feeling of a prosperous trading hub. The covered dock leading to the large ship is now uncovered.

- A general store at the edge of town, next to Silas' house, run by a middle-aged Nord (Halvard Ghost-Eyes).

A good deal of time and thought has gone into the Bigger and Bolder project, and it's my sincere hope that this mod helps enhance the experience of all who opt to use it, and draws them deeper into the magnificent world of Skyrim. Update 1.0 - Packed FaceGen Data in archive with upload, hopefully this fixes the dark face bug on all added NPCs.

do any of these mods conflict with either Here there be Monsters or Shenk Thievery Overhaul?

Dawnstar - small port village, in this game. The reason - harbor, wharf has a small size.
If you will build great sity around - it would look ugly, is not proportional.

how many Bigger and Bolder mod's do you have cuz im thinking to sub for all of them to make game play experience much better..except for the Whiterun Bigger and Bolder mod with trees cuz there is too much tree's in one spot considering whiterun is built on plains not a forest... if you gonna add trees then atleast add some around the city as well.. its a baron waste land compaird to the whiterun mod..

I love your town mods. They really do add to the game. I always felt that for such an ancient and well settled land, Skyrim's towns seemed awful small and underdeveloped. This one really makes a port capital of a province much more believable. I still think there should be a small fort or tower that the populace could fall back into in case of an all out attack. That is how larger castles got their start. A place like Dawnstar would build say a 3 to 4 story stone tower to serve as a fall back position in case of an attack, and over the years they would make additions. I design a lot of castles for my RPG games, mainly the smaller family or noble castles as opposed to the large royal castles. I begin with the premise of a single tower or fortified manor house and then consider what would have been added throughout the generations. I just wanted to compliment you on your work. It is very well done.

for some reason, i can't open the door to the jarl's building in dawnstar, the indicator doesn't show up

odd bug i just found, dawnstar sundaries. when exiting it places you underneath the floorboards/stairs. still love it just letting you know

I don't know. If Falskaar adds anything to Dawnstar, like a ship that will take you there, then it's possible there would be conflicts.
