Description
Early Note: This mod might make melee weapons OP. Use it only for fun.

"Have you ever heard about melee weapons blessed by gods/ deities?". But wait, this is just a normal zombie apocalypse...!! Ah, whatever then...

Well, this mod infuses melee weapons with certain super powers. This is combonation of custom weapons made by Rectus with melee, in which the effects or certain custom weapons are infused into all official melee weapons. With this mod, even you can survive alone, as long as you pick the right melee.

Here's the list of melee weapons along with the types of super power & characteristics:
1. Fire Breath Type: Fireaxe, Pitchfork, Knife, Electric Guitar
- Short range.
- Linear fire breath AOE/ area damage.
2. Lightning Sparks Type: Baseball Bat, Golf Club, Frying Pan, Machete
- Medium range.
- 1 second of cooldown of each lightning sparks attack.
- Linear spread randomized AOE/ area damage.
- The closer the zombie is, the greater the damage.
- Explosive lightning that destroys common infected & stagger special infected & tank.
- "Witch Destroyer" (there's a chance that hitting a witch in close range will destroy witch into nothingness)
- "Temporary God Mode" for 0.5 second after launching lightning sparks.
3. Explosion Type: Katana, Cricket Bat, Tonfa, Crowbar, Shovel
- Long range.
- Pinpoint AOE/ area explosion damage in player's crosshair.
- 1 second of cooldown of each explosion attack
- The explosion staggers special infected, tank & witch.
- "Temporary God Mode" for 0.5 second after launching explosion attack.

So, with these melee weapons blessed by gods, survivors move from horror zombie apocalypse to fantasy zombie apocalypse with interference of gods. Well, if you use this mod, never let bots pick any melee weapons, especially the explosion type during scavenge event as they will blow all gascans without second thought.

Notes:
- This mod is ready to use without any required items, because the "Custom Weapon Base" is already packed in it.
- This mod can be used as "Custom Weapon Base", but only for modified custom weapons that I recently uploaded. The modified custom weapons will override certain celestial melee weapons (example: "Homemade Sentry Floating Turret" will override & replace baseball bat).

References for the super powers of the melee:
1. Fire Breath Type: Makeshift Flamethrower
2. Lightning Sparks Type: Improvised Pipe Shotgun
2. Explosion Type: LAW Rocket Launcher

@RpgBlaster , unfortunately there isn't. The damage is probably almost the same as grenade launcher damage, but no friendlyfire.

Is there a config file to change the explosion type damage by any chance?

@Crabby Cakes , I updated this mod by using "director_base_addon.nut", so it should be way more compatible with many mods active at once. Last time before uploading, I tested with more than 30 script mods & it worked. You can try to test it again.

@Crabby Cakes , I haven't updated it for more than a year, so nothing is changed on this mod. Probably there are some conflicts with other mods. As this mod is basically a "Custom Weapon", probably some custom weapon mods will conflict with this. Anyway, you can try to check the console for errors. If you find some errors in red texts related to "Celestial Melee Weapons", you can inform me by writing here, & I'll check it soon.

I see! I have melee roulette activated, maybe that could be an issue... I dont really have a lot of mods that add a lot of entities to my gameplay, but I can always try and see if that is the case! :)

@TheTeaa , did it happen just recently? I haven't updated this mod for long time so there's no change since the last update. If it happened just recently, probably there's one or some of your mods causing the edict error. Edict error ("No Free Edicts") is usually caused by too many entities/ objects spawned in a map. So you can check some of your mods that add some entities/ objects. Normally this mod should work not only on official campaigns but also custom campaigns, as I often used it to test some new custom campaigns.

Btw melee frenzy shouldn't cause it, as it doesn't add entity/ object. Unless if you enable "Melee Roulette", as that feature will randomly spawn melee when used.

I seem to now get an edict error when booting up any map with this mod enabled... is there any fix? could it be because I have melee frenzy enabled?
