The Necromancer: New Hero

Description
"I brought my colleagues back with much of their intellect intact - a remarkable triumph for even the most experienced necromancer. Freed from the trappings of their humanity, they plied their terrible trade anew: the dead reviving the dead, on and on, down the years. Forever."

Overview
----------------------------------------------------------------

The Necromancer feeds on the life of his enemies to greatly energize his next skill. By doing so, he becomes Empowered, a state represented by a gloomy aura covering his body that gives additional effects to his next skill. Timing your kills is key to maintaining his dark powers, while also supporting allies by consuming corpses.

Other information
----------------------------------------------------------------
  • The Necromancer canon name is Iratus.
  • The Necromancer is NOT religious.
  • The Necromancer special Empowered state will stay between battles.
  • The Necromancer always starts Quests with its custom provision, Bone Shards. Those allow him and only him to instantly become Empowered.
  • On Crit, The Necromancer gains +33% DMG against targets with less than half health.
  • The Necromancer only has 3 trinkets of "Ineffable" rarity. Those count as "very rare" ones and are capped to a max of 1 copy each. He does and wont have DLC or Sunward trinkets.
  • The Necromancer has less than average the chance to spawn in the Stagecoach. However, each time you slain the vanilla Necromancer, an special event will trigger that gives you several ones. Those events are unique and will only happen 3 times, one per Necromancer slained.

Perhaps it is possible to make The Necromancer to revive dead enemies who would attack their own allies? Or explode and damage the enemy's own team?

I personally like to believe that this is a necromancer that just rebelled against his group and wanted to use his powers for good

Cool mod, shame it's not possible to summon undead as allies, but I guess DD engine doesn't work like that:2spooky:
JelloSkeleton  [author] 9 Feb, 2024 @ 8:40am
not possible unfortunately

I think its a good class but theres something missing, its not accurate with the actual necromancer. I suggest adding new features that relates to reviving (EX. a skill that turns any dead party members into skeletons like bone arbalest)

@Axxelerant That is correct, just uploaded a hotfix to adress that. Sadly this wont remove those Quirks from allredy existant Necromancer entries that had them, but it will prevent it from happenning on the future

Thanks you for reporting it and sorry for any inconveniences
